ST Get In Line - A Social Countdown to Episode VII

So with Chicago being a major hub, flights shouldn't be that expensive... maybe they are though, it's very unpredictable. Where would you be driving or flying from?

 

My son had been bouncing ideas off of me for when he grows up and makes SW Episode 7. So when the news came out, he was both happy and a bit disappointed at the same time.

 

eht13: Ha-ha, sounds like me. I was kind of disappointed I couldn't direct it. Then again, with exactly two short films under my belt, I was never really in the running.

About the travel....

LOL for us almost $400 per person is expensive. That was the lowest price we could find for airlines.

We'd be coming from the High Desert, about 90 miles East of L.A. If we flew we'd be flying out of LAX or Ontario.

At this point our 'middle ground' choice is the train. It takes forever, but it's better than being stuck on a bus for two days surrounded by crazies and is actually less than driving, what with hotel stays and gas prices. We could put up with sitting in coach since on a train you can walk around and nap between watching the scenery.

 

Oh OK... yeah, that is a bit high considering they are both major airports. Depending on when the trip is you may want to keep watching the prices, because how far out it is makes a big difference in the prices. Good luck on getting there somehow.

 

If only it could be as simply as this.
