    I know I should know better than to go on to an entertainment website to read an article about a movie that hasn't been released but dammit what is the freaking point of putting a "spoliers ahead tag" just below a paragraph that contained a massive spoiler? :mad:

    Thankfully I never read entertainment magazines or browse sites like IMDB or AICN; I think that's how I manage to avoid major movie spoilers.

    I've had too much experience getting royally pissed off at being inadvertently spoiled that I've learned to close the browser or avert my eyes. Just not worth it.

    On a lighter note...I can't stop laughing at something that just popped up on my Facebook feed:

    "I'd bang you like a screen door in a tornado. Just sayin'."

    My mental list for people to whom that applies, is actually pretty short. :p

    Oooh I've been looking forward to that. I quite liked Pitch Black and am excited about the franchise going back to formula. What was the spoiler may I ask?

    I'm not sure if you want to read it if you haven't already but...

    Supposedly the planet Riddick is on throughout the film is revealed to be Furya at the end.

    My brother & mother have given me driving lessons this week (I'm likely to go again tomorrow)... I plan, hope, and pray that I'll get my driver's license this year. :p

    That is sincerely a good accomplishment. Glad you are getting opportunities to get the process started.

    I am contemplating the most profound way to burn my Jrue Holiday jersey in a manner which gets the attention of 76ers management without it being a felony.

    I'd say you can get a Nissan Leaf and get to park at the cool front row spaces with the charging stations, but Denny's doesn't have those.

    Or you can get a Shelby GT500 and park a half mile from the front door so nobody is parked next to you thus you get no door dings...

    Many thanks... I had 2 impetuses for this: 1) my job search... I'm hindered in what I can look/apply for because I don't drive & 2) I've got to get my CA identification card renewed before October, so since I need to go to the DMV to get that sorted out, I can my written test on the same day. The driving test would come later. :p As to automobiles, my mother has been gracious enough to let me have her old (2001) Corolla POS... it doesn't run great, there's an issue with the driver side window (it doesn't go down all the way), and it looks it's been around for 30 years, but it works well enough & it's free (other than the registration & insurance I'll need to pay for). It will take me sometime to save up enough $$$$ to lease a new car, and when that happens, I'm leaning heavily towards a Honda.

    Leasing is only good if you put very little mileage on a car and you don't plan on keeping it more than 3yrs. If you want to drive a lot and/or you plan on keeping a car for a while... STAY AWAY from a lease!

    I have yet to even start contemplating learning to drive and getting a car. Way out of my budget and not really necessary in the current circumstances, but one day I guess...

    Speaking of budget...I have an uncontrollable urge to buy Star Wars merchandise of some sort.
