Frankly, I rarely posted on other forums except for this one, but yes, we have quite decent people here compared to other places.

I think it's important to note that very rarely have I ever seen anyone here post out of maliciousness. Most heated debates seem to stem from a passion for the boards' subject matter, not from an agenda to upset people. With that in mind there are very few bad eggs around here. (At least for now. )

In fact there are people on the boards who are just an outright pleasure to, and I have made some of my best friends here. So take that for what it's worth.

 

I'm going to go ahead and call myself an outright pleasure. I think I have the authority to do that.

Regarding this forum... yes, it is awesome, and people here really are great.

Got a nail biting day today. My 17yr old daughter has recently had a biopsy to test some lumps that have been found in her breast. The results appointment was for October, but the hospital brought it forward, urgently, to today. Fingers crossed

Cheers guys. Her appointment with the consultant and the surgeon is in 45mins. Luckily there isn't a history of anything bad on my daughter's mother's side, but there is a history on my dad's side of the family, but I didn't think males could pass down female genetic defects(?). I'm absolutely bricking it.

 

OK, I just got the call. By all accounts It's not dangerous but they want to operate ASAP and just get it out. The feeling of relief is awesome! Now, back to some SW chat

 

So benign, but remove it anyway just to be safe? Sounds good!

 

Well, it was strange. When my ex-wife called me to let me know how it went, the doctors apparently first off said it's safe and come back in a year. Then my ex and my girl were asked to stay, followed by them saying no, we want to take it out. So that seems a little strange, but all in all I'm happy and it's good news.

Oh I will. Also its Samantha's first time to Disney world so she's really excited. I can't wait.
