    I get to work tonight so no trick or treating for me. My wife will take our son out. First Halloween I've missed since he was old enough to go trick or treating. I'm kind of bummed.

    This is my first year following baseball (went to my first game!) and my team wins the World Series! :D I think this may give me a false expectation of how things usually work. ;)

    It's pouring here and isn't supposed to stop anytime soon so I'm not sure how much fun we'll be having tonight. My kids are still determined to go though.

    Thanks. :) The intense winds we've had all day seem to be calming so maybe there's hope the rain will slow down by the time we need to go. If not I might have to take them up to my brother's to go trick-or-treating with them. It's not supposed to be as bad up there.

    Will you be dressing up as well? Another great thing about having kids is I get to dress up for Halloween again. :p I have my Jedi robes and lightsaber waiting for me when I get home. :D

    LOL I don't even have kids and I dress up anyway. :p Never been trick-or-treating, though. Grew up in not-so-nice neighborhoods.

    I got tired of being a Jedi five years in a row so I mixed it up. This year I'm Rosie the Riveter.

    Thankfully living in a townhome complex means essentially no trick or treater's... I fear for the one or or two sets of kids that may show up, because depending on what part of the evening it will be, I might already be drunk.
