I'm going to Newfoundland on Monday.

    Does that count, @TCF-1138?

I'm glad that next time we'll be back during the holiday season, because watching the Star Wars Holiday Special during my rewatch just wouldn't be the same in April or May. That being said, Solo was fun, it's too bad the average moviegoer wasn't as enthusiastic as many of us were?
Anyway, I've been in line for a while now, Disney can count on my dollars. At least we'll have a new TV show this fall?

What part of Newfieland? I like St John's. When I was going on deployments to Iraq, that was usually our last stop in North America on our way over, and our first stop on the way back. Since I grew up in New Brunswick, I felt right at home with the Canuck accents and Tim's on every corner.

I've been procrastinating a trip to Canada mainly because I needed to renew my passport. Now that my renewal is in the pipeline, I guess it shouldn't take too long. I ordered the Passport Book and Card, just because I never had the option to get the card when I renewed my passport 11 years ago. Bring on the donut shops and metric system!

I have officially started long-term plans for a family vacation to surprise our four kids with a trip to Disney World...something my parents did for me, and is one of the best childhood memories I have! Of course we're not going before Galaxy's Edge is completed, but I really felt like an adult and all, making surprise vacation plans for our kids for the first time!

Never been to Newfoundland though. What's Tim's @Sarge? (Suppose I could just Google it, but it's more fun to talk about it here!)

That's fun. I did that with my kids once, and they were too nervous to say what they thought was happening. My youngest was all like "Umm... that sign says Disneyland."
"Well what do you think that means?"
"Are... are we going to Disneyland?"
    "No - we're already here!"
    It was fun.

416 days! Fun fact - the first showing will take place on my 39th birthday, and I have asked that all extra money which might be saved for my 40th be pushed forward by a year. We're going to rent the private luxury booth in the biggest theater and watch the saga end in style!

@DARTH_BELO , Tim Horton's is Canada's copy of Dunkin Donuts.

(duck and cover while the Canucks come at me with hockey sticks for that statement)

It really seems weird not having a rewatch this year before a new film comes out. I have a tradition that involves watching The Star Wars Holiday Special on Thanksgiving, all the way through without skipping. I mean, it's only once a year, and plus much alcohol is involved. I mean, it's sort of grown on me? That Jefferson Starship song is pretty good, and Bea Arthur's Cantina tune is kinda catchy! But I'll have to wade through minutes of Wookiee dialogue, Wookiee Porn, and Lumpy's grunting.

Well, finally after a year I have figured out how to get posting privileges for the Non-Spoiler Section!! I am terrified of spoilers in every way possible, so I am looking forward to hanging out in here now! After the teaser-trailer, I am filled with excitement for Episode 9, and hope we can have some more discussion is this section of the forum.

Only 243 days till I will be in my seat for Episode 9!

I'm glad you posted, so then I could reply that I was of course in line for Episode IX. Isn't it exciting? And being spoiler-free, I think the movies are much better knowing as little as possible.

Spoiler-free is the only way to go!! Thats why I feel like TLJ was kind of divisive, because people went in spoiled and did not give it a fair shot for there predetermined expectations. I LOVED the surprises TLJ brought, and I can attribute this to being spoiler-free! Very excited for IX, the anticipation over the next 7+ months will be a blast.

It's great going into a film having a vague overview of the story (like a trailer) and maybe a short quip about the characters. The spoiler crowd knows about this character and that one, and they get disappointed when their favorite plot element/character doesn't appear in the final film.

I remember finding out that my local TV station was going to air the second Episode I trailer during the 11:00 newscast, so of course I cued up my VCR and recorded it...and watched it over and over again. I decided to go and see The Matrix one weekend, and was surprised to see that trailer on the big screen. I mean, it had been a couple months since they aired the trailer, and it wasn't long until Episode I was due in theatres.

Hard to believe we're that close to the final chapter in the Saga. Time flies - it feels like it was just recently they announced the sale and the sequel trilogy.

Figure we should be getting the Vanity Fair Cover/Shoot for TROS in the next week or two. Haven't decided if I will give it a peak, as they sometimes reveal a little more than I would like to see. Im craving some photos though lol.
