I'm about 2-3 months away from 50,000 posts... WEEEEEEEEE!

 

I'm about quality, not quantity.
Though maybe "quality" should be embedded in sarcastic air quotes here.

 

Quality is in the eye of the beholder.

Quantity can be seen by everyone.

This has been my pathetic attempt at philosophy for today.

Woodring's work is a treasure to me. I've been following Frank for about 20 years now(beginning with Frank in the River). I change the avatar once in awhile but it's always Frank.

 

Weathercraft and Congress of the Animals were the last books I've picked up. I don't know if he's done anything since those two.

Marvel comics did some wordless issues 10 or so years ago. 'Nuff said.

 

Yep, got those. A trade and some single issues. A friend of mine use to work at a comic store and knew what I was into and would look out for it. He's the one that turned me onto Woodring and Ott.

Have you seen The System by Peter Kuper? It's only a three issue mini-series, but it's pretty good.
