Social Get In Line, NSA Edition - A Social Countdown to The Mandalorian and Grogu

Man traffic around here has increased a ton since those massive spoilers apparently dropped. I love it!

 

I know from both personal experience and chatting with other folks in SA that a lot of people would have jumped over here sooner, but there(understandably) isn't a lot going on. Keeping up on relevent and interesting topics here will help make people want to hang here, and that will increase with time as the marketing ramps up.

There is still a ton to speculate/debate about even without any rumors/spoilers. In fact, it's probably more open becuase you don't have half the ideas shot down with "that's not was so-and-so on 4chan said". ;-)

 

My "Thursday Nite Sci-Fi" is continuing with the 1953 "War of the Worlds."
I hears no spoilers, I knows no spoilers...for all I know, y'all are still in the dark as much as I am. I'm hesitant to click posts of folks that haven't been active in here though. No offense to anyone who hasn't posted recently, but since our mod staff is excellent, I'm letting the new posts "ripen" a bit before opening.

 

I've been doing that too. I guess I do have some faith in our mods also.

Yay! Although it's more like being in the dark. Spoilers cloud everything.

One thing I have noticed is that the different boards on the JCF have various tolerance levels for VII rumors. I've seen stuff mentioned in threads about TCW, Rebels, the novels, comics and recent rumors about Battlefront touch on VII as well. With all that in mind, can we have a single thread in here for discussing other SW media without any discussion of VII rumors?

I agree, it sounds good to me. It can be the NSA forum's version of the "New Canon Material (Rebels, TCW, comics, novels) and the ST" thread (in the 7SA forum).

I'm a little surprised there isn't more traffic in here considering what happened with the huge spoiler that dropped.

 

The thing is that regardless how many large spoilers may drop in the near future, traffic prbably won't pick up here as much until there is actually something to discuss, IOW official info, images etc.

 

Hopefully. Things were still really quiet after the first teaser dropped in November. Maybe over the next couple of months with more and more spoilers finding their way online and more and more official info released, we'll see an uptick.

How many of y'all are headed to Anaheim for Celebration in April?

 

Not I. I'm hoping for a future Celebration on the US east coast again sometime in the future.

 

I'd like to do a Celebration sometime but there's a few things above it on my list to do first. Maybe in ten years I will go to one.

 

I know it would probably never happen, but if they do a Celebration Denver, I've promised myself I will be going!

 

I'm on the West Coast, but with my upcoming job opportunity it's doubtful. I'm actually wondering where I'll see The Force Awakens if I end up working overseas (and in a dangerous part of the world) in December. But I'm thinking positive!

 

I'd really love to go, even for just one day, but I doubt I'll be able to.
