Concerning actual game play, I'm fairly certain that the last time I partook in Monopoly was via this version:

Cashed out at $20 when I was in Vegas back in '09 (***** that whole "If it happens in Vegas, it stays in Vegas" garbage) on one of those... helped to pay for my dinner that night!

 

I have a NYK monopoly at my parents house. I also have an NYC and somewhere at this house we have the Episode one edition. I love the game no matter what edition. Fun to play with my son

I once played an electronic Canada Monopoly at my cousin's house. Dunno if it was his or one of our friends', considering I hadn't seen it before or since, but it was really fun.

 

I'll pose this question: Who wouldn't want to play a JC-version of Monopoly?

I take it that means we'd be using the star ratings as the game board tokens?

Guys! 41 days without a post in this thread? It continues to astound me how much more active 7SA is than 7NSA. I feel like I remember the NSA forums during the PT being quite active this far out from the films' releases. Maybe that's because we essentially knew where that story was headed anyway so speculation was much easier? With the ST the story could go literally any direction.

 

I think you nailed it there... but, to be a bit fair, traffic across the whole JC isn't what it was during the '99-'05 heydays.

 

I have a job and family these days, back round the prequels I was a single student with oodles of spare time

Also, with the prequels I was new to the boards and wanted to know every little thing that was happening with production so I was on here constantly.

Today the opposite is true. I'm trying to stay relatively spoiler free so avoiding this place helps with that

 

Still, the JC forums seem to be a lot more active than most internet discussion forums these days. A lot of them have gotten very slow or dried up completely, due to things like Facebook, Twitter, etc.

 

It's nice to be unique in that regard.

 

Yep. I used to be really active on KMC Forums 8-10 years ago (which always had a really active Star Wars section because it began its life as a Star Wars site) and it's so dead now.
