Both Wookiepedia and wiki posted that there will be yet another MONTH delay from episodes 14-15 from February 5th-March 5th.

This is getting ridiculous. You can hardly speak of a weekly show anymore, we are just occasionally getting episodes. And the most stupid: there is NO reason! Let's have a look at the complete schedule from episode 1-15:

    October 2 2 episodes
    October 9 1 episode
    October 16 1 episode
    October 23 BREAK
    October 30 BREAK
    November 6 1 episode
    November 13 1 episode
    November 20 1 episode
    November 27 BREAK
    December 4 1 episode
    December 11 BREAK
    December 18 BREAK
    December 25 BREAK
    January 1 2 episodes
    January 8 BREAK
    January 15 BREAK
    January 22 1 episode
    January 29 1 episode
    February 5 2 episodes
    February 12 BREAK
    February 19 BREAK
    February 26 BREAK
    March 5 1 episode

11 weeks of break for only showing the first 15 episodes. For comparison, the first season as a whole had 4 weeks of break!

It doesn't say the one on March 5 is the 15th episode. There must be a reason for that.

What is "it"? Wookieepedia or Starwars insider 115? If so, we need someone to confirm this is indeed episode 15.

I usually don't take Wookiee or Wiki for Facts but they have been right all this year with the schedules for CW.

I kinda figured that Episode 12 "Mandalore Plot" would be the start of the Mandalore Trilogy that would span about 3 episodes or so. But I do agree, if we do end up having another really long break like that it's just getting out of hand - as if it hasn't been bad enough already. It's just so stop and start, hard to really get into the show.

This is true. According to Insider 115, their is another four week break after the Mandalorian episodes.

And I already thought that we have had enough gaps to just show the rest of season.
For comparison, last year March 6th was the day for Innocents of Ryloth. So we'll be 5 episodes after season 1. Good way would be to just show one episode every week minus Easter, which would take us to April 30th (season 1 finale was March 20th). But I fear they will continue showing two-parters, which I don't think is so good thing.

At least we get four new episodes without breaks before that one. That's almost a season two record.

I don't get the point of having the "double-header" nights and then taking a week (or more) off.

Obviously the December break is pretty standard, but I don't get the rest of this. Hard to get people into a show when you keep switching it around.

As a matter of fact, if this wasn't funded by LFL, I'd suspect TCW was going the way of ST:TOS, Futurama, My So-Called Life, and many other great shows cancelled before their time.

Again, I wish we could see the ratings to see how/if any of this is really affecting the ratings. Otherwise we're flying blind. The breaks are annoying as hell to us, but we'll watch the show anyway. How much they affect a general audience... wish I know.

Anyone work for Nielsen? Or however basic cable ratings are tallied?

Feb makes no sense to me, it's not even when spring break is!

I guess it's because they are doing more two-parters, which I'm all for, but at the cost of so many breaks... you take the good with the bad I guess.

Halloween,Thanksgiving.Christmas and Easter should be there only breaks.
And yes I think we need to find the ratings to see how the series is doing.Good thing GL said there making 100 episodes no matter what too.

I wasn't necessarily referring to the ratings, but simply the network not being behind the project, which happened in the case of the above-mentioned shows.

February sweeps are from February 4th-March 3rd. If they aren't playing new episodes during that period, then everyone must be taking crazy pills. The whole point of having a January break would be to save episodes for sweeps.

From everything we've heard, this show has been a ratings giant for Cartoon Network. You have to remember, this is a cable station, so they don't require network numbers. Also, they aren't working from the typical TV 18-49 demographic that kills other Friday night sci-fi. I believe the show has been the top ranked show in its demographic, an 8-13 age demo, based on different articles and (obviously) the commercials they show.

Crazy pills. I'll believe it when I see it.

Considering the rise and fall typical to a TV season, these are actually ******* excellent numbers.

(How do I know how to read ratings? I'm a Joss Whedon fan. :_|)

They're worse than season one's, but still not bad.

Those figures show that a delay in broadcasting actually HELPS audience numbers.
