I'm betting the licensing will make syndication too expensive. Star Wars is notorious for losing business because of expensive licensing (ex: Wizards of the Coast). This is also why I think they don't have many reruns.

    But who knows.

    "This is an outrage!"

Who is responsible for this? Cartoon Network or Lucasfilm?

It changed to March 19th? No, not the best news, especially for an episode storyline that doesn't exactly scream greatness.

The reason for this delay is probably due to the winter olympics....but alot of us would watch the clone wars as it is. I think the scheduling for this show on CN is appauling. They better not complain about drops in ratings for an otherwise good show, they'll only have themselves to blame with this poor scheduling.

The problem is that the Olympics are over at the end of this month, and they're waiting another half-month after that to return to CW.

I just wish the FC guys would have asked Filoni about this during their recent interview.

Yep, way, way too long - especially if the Olympics are finished by end of February. March 5th I could live with since they had a decent string of a few episodes, but March 19!?....can't say anything to that except that it's insane....

If the Olympics had any effect on the showings, why would they show part 3 of the "Duchess trilogy" the day it opened?

Yea, it makes it sound like we will have to wait an extra week to get to the "good" stuff

I'm hoping that they will surprise us and show it early like Landing at Point Rain. [face_praying]

Unfortunately, that probably won't happen. But I can dream, can't I? I feel like a kid who just opened all his presents on Christmas morning, and didn't get the one I really wanted, and the only place left it could be is in the stocking over the fireplace.

    Could it be there, yes.
    Anr the chances good? No.

This is completely ridiculous. Not only will it lose A LOT of ratings but a lot of people also will just lose interest. It's practically 5 weeks without a new episode and were barely half way into the 2nd season.

I don't think this is LF guys, it's gotta be CN. This makes me so irritated. I might as well just wait until the S2 blu-ray boxset comes out than deal with all these delays.

I've just been reading through this thread when it hit me:

We all agree on something. For once.

Oh, the power of collective misery...:(

I agree, this is ridiculous! Wish we could figure out what is going on here. Jimmy Mac of the Forcecast needs to do an investigative report but I doubt he would even find out what is going on. All this is just so confusing.

Misery DOES love company after all! [face_laugh]:_|:(

Well, I hope that after this, they'll have tired themselves out with the breaks (haha, oxymorons rule!) and go back to showing regular schedules. XD

I'm guessing yes. By the time this new episode airs, we'd already be at the season finale for season 1, so I'm guessing they are way behind and will continue showing them weekly (and will probably take one more break for Easter in April). I'd say during April the season should end.
