I suggest meeting outside of D&B (it quiet and out of the way of the mall mayhem) and there are seats there.

Oh hush. I am good with directions, just not good at budgeting my time when I'm going somewhere. I just have no clue how long it will take to get there because I've never been. Guess I could take the metro, but I'd rather drive. I hope leaving at noon will be sufficient.

 

it shouldn't take too long for you - 2 hours would be sufficent I'm sure.

I presume you are taking the beltway round ? If so, continue round the beltway until you reach the 'Rockville Pike - 355' exit (I don't know the number). Take 355 north (towards Rockville), WhiteFlint Mall is about three sets of traffic lights up, on the right hand side.

 

I may drive it myself. Looking at the Metro map, it'll take me twice as long to ride up there as it will to drive.

 

So, like, where is everyone today?
It's now roughly 24 hours after the D&B get-together. How was it? What'd everyone think? ?

 

It wasn't bad. I don't play video games really though so I ended up playing the other games. I thought it was way too loud to eat lunch there. I could barely hear what anyone was saying. but I might go again sometime.

 

Yeah, it was a bit loud. I had to leave after a while because my head was hurting too much. Keep in mind this is someone who has been to Ozzy concerts saying this. But it was fun and the waitress was cute so that was a nice bonus.

 

It was very loud in there; too much going on in an enclosed area. However, the waitress was worth a look, or two, or three...

I beat malkie at Pod racing! And I played the Star Wars Arcade all the way through twice! It definitely is a lot harder than the ol' green ray-traced arcade game. 'Course my arm is dead now.

 

I'm sorry I missed it, but we had some previous plans for the daytime - though I'm not a video game person either, so maybe I'd have been bored (except for the company of course!). And if there wasn't a cute waiter,then I'd really have been out of luck!

I had fun; I love video games and junk so it was right up my alley. I'm sure I'll go back, I just wish I lived a little closer! (Although living closer to the Cheesecake factory might NOT be a good thing...)
