Buff, NY Get Well Soon Biz!

Some may know, some may not. Biz had serious surgery on Saturday. Dan can fill everyone in on the exact details. When we spoke yesterday, he said she should be released to go home and rest sometime today.

To update:

Biz is still in the hospital. The doctors thought she had a blood clot and found one in her lungs. She's taking it easy and waiting for the medication to do it's job. She's hoping to come home sometime this weekend.

Quick update of the day:

Elizabeth is doing good and recovering fine from her surgery.
She had a going home date of last Tuesday but that was changed once they found the first bach of clots.
On Thursday, they did a scan on her lungs and found more clots. I'm not sure of the total number.
They put her on a blood thinner to try and shrink and destroy the clots.
The original goal was to get enough of a base in her of the drug and then prescribe pills she could take to keep it at an effective level and she could go home.

As of Thursday the gameplan looked to get her home either today or tomorrow.

As of last night everything changed. The amount of the level in her blood wasn't enough and they decided they will be keeping her in the hospital for another undetermined as of yet stretch.

I will know more today as I am going to the hospital when I get done with this post.

Elizabeth wanted me thank all of you for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers. She's one tough cookie and wants you to know that she will make it through this and will soon be back to her normal self.

Elizabeth wanted me to thank everyone for the flowers. It brightened her weekend. She said she misses all of you and can't wait to make it to the next get together.

We got a bit of good news today, according to her doctor she is near the level she needs to leave and hopefully by tomorrow night she will be home and sleeping in her own bed.

 

Lots of happy happy thoughts and prayers that things keep going in positive direction and getting home and healthy. By they way has she tried any healing trances while in hospital? LOL

New update!

Elizabeth is home and resting from the epic ten day journey to the hospital.

She's not quite out of the woods yet, but she has meds and a dr's appointment on both Thursday and Friday to make sure they are working.

Hopefully I can get her on tomorrow to update from her point of view.
