Get your short or spoof played on TV!

Hey all, a production company I work for is looking for a bunch of internet shorts to play on a television show called NetSketch. The shorts need to be funny and the shorter, the better.

They need to be free of rights (which can be a problem here with fan films, but I figured I'd ask). You will maintain rights to your film, we'll just be playing it on TV. There is no pay (hooray), but it's exposure if you're interested.

Except for the EpIII Trailer and the cartoons. Atom Films owns the cartoons and MTV's lawyers would get all mad about the trailer. (I've been kindly warned.)

So, that leaves Disaster at Naboo... Or the Saberfight 2004 one I did with Fig. That's pretty wide open. It's just barely a Star Wars film...

Here are the shorts I can offer that are (1) comedies and (2) things I have the rights to. All of them have played film festivals and been well-received on one front or another.

"Date Double" - 2 minutes
Crudely animated mini-romcom. Features the voice of Will Butler from the Arcade Fire. (Regarding the rights: no signed talent releases, sadly.)

"Run Leia Run" - 15 minutes 30 seconds
Animated parody crossing "Star Wars" with "Run Lola Run". Boasts a couple of awards and sci-fi convention exposure in addition to mainstream festivals. Features the voice of Will Butler from the Arcade Fire.
(Regarding the rights: aside from the gray area of spoofing the movies and using their characters and stuff, I don't use any of the SW music or copyrighted footage or anything like that, there shouldn't be legal issues. However, again, no signed releases from actors or musicians on this film if your show would need them.)

"Sparky" - 4 minutes 45 seconds
When a massive blackout tosses his slacker lifestyle into upheaval, Sparky Peterson is forced to amuse himself.
Three-star review from "Film Threat".

"Love: The Movie" - 9 minutes
An experimental romantic comedy about the connections between love and filmmaking. Also, stuff blows up.
A coupla awards from the festival circuit.

"Pat Gets a Cat" - 14 minutes and change
A romantic comedy about a lonely young man who adopts a cat and imagines it as human.
Won a Best Student Film award, hooray.

"Madison's Resume" - 3 minutes
Bittersweet animated comedy about the futility of summing up your life in one page.
Festival play.
