Let's see if we can get some traffic going in here.
I am Elizabeth and I'm the CR for Waco TX
My name is Jay and I currently live in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
I'm Jason, and I live near Chattanooga, TN. I'm trying to get a FanForce going. I'm very, very close (I hope!).
EDIT: OOPS! I just noticed this is for the MIDSOUTH, not SOUTHEAST. My bad. ?
John Laurel from San Antonio Texas reporting in . . .
Always looking forward in meeting fellow FanForce members !!!
Take Care & MTFBWY
Hello all! Or should I say ya-all for SouthernJedi? LOL! No worries SJ, you can hang out with us.
My name is Lisa with the TulsaFanForce, but most of the time I go by Ice Queen.
Amidala Starkiller-Nabooty Call said that you were at the last Plano show. Did you guys have a good time? I know that we did! I spent way tooooo much money, got a tatoo and talked about some good ideas for future costumes. Nabooty Call was really the only other FanForce member that I met (he is a good Obi-Wan look alike), but I hope to meet more members the next time I am there.
I'm sorry I didn't meet you and the Con.
I had a great time too. Helping out at the badge was so much fun. I got some autographs (Amy Allen, Carrie Fisher, and Brad Dourif).
About 6 of us from Waco drove up. I hope to have the pictures up some.
I'm Billy, and I live in Tulsa, OK, and, yes, I met my wife on the Web!
I'm Joe from the Waco Bounty Hunters Guild. I met my girlfriend at Waco's first meeting. I love comics, movies, and Star Wars
Hi there! This is Ian in Lubbock, TX. I was one of the two TIE pilots at the Dallas Nov 1st show a week ago.
I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting and talking with the Dallas FF folks, particularly Brian, who was very friendly and helpful in regards to my Fan Force questions.
I'm putting a call out for any of you who may have friends or family living in or near Lubbock- there aren't a whole lot of fans active here and I'm hoping to find more who just may not know about these forums yet.
If you know anyone who is a SW fan and lives around here, I appreciate it if you'd send 'em my way.
Thanks, and if any of you make it up this way, let me know and we'll go for a beer or something.
501st Star Garrison
Waco was at the IMAX in Dallas on the 1st too. I wish I'd known you were there we all could have hung out together
I was one of the two TIE pilots- were you in costume? Also was part of the D&B crew and had a blast. We'll have to be sure and introduce ourselves to each other at the next event!
We stood in line and watched the 501st take pictures with everyone.
We didn't make it the D&B. Everyone in my group was pretty beat so we headed home.
So what does the Mid South think of the DVD?
I love the DVD!
I've watched all the extra features. The only thing left now is to watch it with commentary. A bit of a chore, but I gained a lot from the EpI comments.
The DVD is AWESOME!!!
I love everything about it. My favorite is the gag reel
