Q: Your weirdest illness so far?

 

A. Well, I had scarlet fever when I was a kid... Not necessarily weird, but it's a bit unusual. In terms of some of the symptoms, I suppose mono would be a bit weird (inflamed spleen and liver)... Though, there was that time when I had a bubo (inflamed lymph node) on the side of my head and had to take some heavy-duty pills. No one told me exactly what it was, or exactly what the pills did. Hmmm...

A. Swine Flu or Mono. Can't decide which was worse. Awful awful stuff.
