That makes sense. I would very much like to discuss TCW with you. I think it could be informative and maybe even fun for both of us. I don't mind spoilers. I prefer to know what I'm in for about things. Surprises unnerve me.

Answer: I think certain aspects of DW but not some of it's over all tone or presentation.

 

I love it there's some good episodes and some bad but I like it.

yes Doctor Who is a English tv series.
and favourite other movie would probably be The Avnegers (although over here it was officially called Avengers Assemble why? I don't know)

@Cushing's Admirer I did until recently but they are all the same character and I have only seen from 2005 onwards no9-n011.

 

They are the same character yet they aren't at the same time each time the man changes so does the character. I have likewise only seen the newer series.

One of my fave non SW films is The Mission.

Wow. I agree with TrakNar... this is too hard a question. Besides, my list of favorite movies fluctuates according to mood. Nevertheless, I can offer this:

Recently, I saw 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' and it blew my mind. I haven't assigned it a rank yet, but it undoubtedly jumped straight into my top ten. Still, I can't decide if I liked AUJ better. They were both fantastic. I must ponder this. How 'bout that river scene, huh?

Question- What are three of your favorite comedic movies?

 

@It Is Your Destiny well the river scene was good and I liked the woodland elves but for me it wasn't as good as LOTR.
my favourite comedy movies (which I have few) are probably: National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (Chevy Chase), Borat and then probably the parole officer. Like I said I don't like comedy that much.
Question What do you think of Battlestar Galatica?

 

I liked the old series, as for a television series, the effects were pretty decent at the time, and in some cases, I feel that they still hold up today. I'm a sucker for practical special effects.

Haven't seen it, yet. No car of my own, I live outside of town, so getting to the theater is a hassle.

I didn't see it either. Any movie over two hours I won't see in a theater. I can't sit that long. I'll wait until it comes to Netflix.
