    Do those classic, older British actresses like Judi Dench and Maggie Smith count? If so, I'll go with them.

    (Piggybacking on what Thuro said about massages: that's interesting, because even though I'm a hetero woman, I would prefer to have a massage done by another woman! I guess maybe it's because I regard it as being sort of like a doctor's visit.)

    What's your feeling on technological devices that talk (from cars that say "Your door is ajar" to modern-day GPSes, and of course Siri and her relatives)?

    I don't use them. No GPS, as I don't have a car. Anything that makes noise is of the "bloop bleep" variety. Though, my sister-in-law has a Roomba and it talks. It's... a bit creepy.

    Yes if pickled or cooked in a way that reduces the snot content. Otherwise, ew, snotty.

    I always had particular fondness for the various Tales of... story collections, as well as the Star Wars Tales comics. Fun little vignettes. :)
