    Used to, but it was always cheesy romance rubbish. :p Did write some battle scenes and some epic escapes from exploding bases stuff.

    Pretty much. Stories can be draining to write with all the thought that goes into them. Unless you find an idea you really like.

    Not usually, because (at least in the fanfic world) they're just excuses for the writer to be lazy and not have to work to make their story fit in the "actual" universe, or it's a way to selfishly reenforce your personal headcanon. (Though once upon a time many years ago I read a really well-done "what if Qui-Gon didn't get killed?" AU story)
