    Thanks for clicking - and I hope you don't regret it. ;)

    Title: GFFA Hums
    Author: Tahi
    Genre: Humour - Hums and poems based on When We Were Very Young, The Hums of Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner
    Notes: I apologise to A. A. Milne for these - but I just can't resist an idea when it pops into my head. :) I guess you need to be at least vaguely familiar with the two books noted above, as I've kept to the rhymes and rhythms of the poems and hums therein. I've also copied the grammar style, to a certain extent anyway, and capitalisation - even though it sometimes put my teeth on edge. ;) I hope I don't offend any hardline Pooh fans out there - but if I do, just take three breaths and recite the Jedi Code.

    Serenely yours
    ~Tahi~

    She looks cute but she's full of surprises;
    She's after a man,
    So take care where you land,
    'Coz she'll get you, whatever your size is.

    Jag had

    Boots on;
    Jag gave his
    Dark Hair
    A Hasty
    Pat;
    Jag had sleek

    I haven't read any of that [face_blush] But I did watch Winnie the Pooh when I was little, even if I don't remember if much :p

    Hehehe [face_mischief]

    I really liked the one between R2 and Threepio. Those two do so much for Star Wars :)

    Cute poems, Tahi :) I'll have to look for these books now.

    Whoops, just saw the new one ;) Poor Hobbie :(

    Wow! Thanks everyone. :)

    Yoda
    Well, the Teneniel one was the first one I thought of. I was trying to come up with a TD poem for Amsie's TD thread, but for some reason the "Jonathan Jo" poem popped into my head - probably the rhythm of the name. :)

    Oh - you must read Winnie the Pooh. Not meaning to be anti-American or anything but the original books are much better than the Disney version. I still laugh at the stories in The House at Pooh Corner - especially the "Poohsticks" story where Tigger bounces Eeyore into the river, and the one where they go hunting for a heffalump.

    Thrawn
    Thanks. :) You've read WtP haven't you?

    Jaina_Solo_15
    Thanks. :) Well this is my first ever crossover, so it was a bit of a gamble.

    Jaya
    Oh dear - I scared you!!! Sorry. ;) I guess A. A. Milne would turn in his grave if he found out.

    AnakinsHeir
    Hi. :) I remember reading a terrific Han songfic of yours a while ago. Great to meet you here. :)

    Hmmm- you find the idea scary too. Strange though it may sound there are some parallels between some of the characters: C3PO and Eeyore for instance - gloom and doom. :) :D

    Anyway - thanks again for reading.

    Tahi, those are wonderful.

    How about "anti-Disney" instead? I don't think all of America should be blamed for the Disney-fication of literature.

    :D Absolutely no offence(s) to anyone/thing/corporation intended!

    I, too, love the books more. But for those of you who grew up with the Disney versions - [:D] !

    Anti-Disney-fication - LOL What a great term. Has a kind of Red Hot Chilli Pepper sound to it. :)

    Don't worry - I was being tongue in cheek. Fortunately Yoda is familiar with my sense of humour. ;)

    Thanks for reading. :) And have a nice weekend.

    Wonderful job with these, Tahi! I loved them. The Teneniel one cracked me up, and the one with Artoo -- [face_laugh] [face_laugh] That's just classic. I think anyone would feel the same way if forced to stand next to Threepio so often. ;)

    It's good to see something so different on here! Very creative. :D Great work!

    Hi, Knight Aragorn, nice to meet you :) and thanks so much for reading. Yes, I agree about poor old R2 - it's amazing he didn't zap C-3PO when you think about it. He had the power. :) Obviously a patient little chappie. ;)

    Yoda
    :D Hmmm - might have to send over the All Black front row to sort you guys out. LOL

    Funny, very very funny.

    These are cute, and I think I read one of the original books when I was younger, I liked it, but then it had to go back to the library. :( And yeah, Milne was a genius. And so are you for finding a way to translate it into SW stuff.
