Hope you're right. I really really do.

 

I'm not saying it will be good because I don't know, but to equate it with what Terminator: Genisys tried to do is lunacy. And, for the record, I actually kind of liked T5 in a totally shut-my-brain-off entertaining kind of way. I watched it on a plane, of course.

 

I enjoyed it too in a Rocky Horror sort of way. Emilia Clarke was just awful though.

I don't read leaked scripts, no. I didn't read the Spectre one either...

The pitch version is a painfully revealing insight into the state of the movie industry. If you're friends with the right people, you can just write your stoned thoughts up in an email and they'll be made into the movie people waited three decades for.

 

Unless you've been waiting for the next Ghostbusters 2, in which case this movie looks more or less to be exactly what you wanted.

 

I have! I've grown to love movie franchise disasters. It's a whole new genre. I guess we all witnessed its birth. The nice thing about it is: it has no real casualties!

I can't agree with this more strongly. If Hollywood is determined to spend the bulk of its money on these nearly sure thing reboots and remakes and recapitulations, we really need to enjoy it more when they fail.

 

I wonder if he knew.
