Just wondered if anyone has been to any gigs recently and cared to share with us who it was and what they were like.

I'm off to see Stereophonics at the MEN Arena on 19th November, I haven't seen them since 1998 at Leeds. Looking forward to it.

I went to see Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure last week which was absolutely brilliant. :D

This sunday I'm off to see The Cooper Temple Clause at Bristol Academy which should be good.

When you put 2 (actual) words into Google and get only one result, this is called a Googlewhack. Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure is about an adventure Dave Gorman had because of Googlewhacks.

Heard of Cooper Temple Clause not heard any though I don't think...

Last gig I went to was last year in December to see my fave band and Return to the Sabbat :_|

Wanted to go and see Slayer... was going to go as a suprise meetup with someone... but the gig was sold out. Then I wanted to see LAIBACH but no one would go with me because they think the band is wierd (they're not wrong but that's their appeal) :p

    I NEED MORE GIGS!!!!

The Cooper Temple Clause are quite good. Their song Film-Maker is brilliant!! A quick fact about them (if your a big fan then you should know it already) is that they named the band after a circus that one of the members mum's was part of, a trapeze artist or somit. It was called the Cooper Temple Circus, the band added the Clause bit coz it sounded good.

    :D

PS: If that is complete bollux then sorry, I heard it on the radio from the lead singer when they were yet to be fully known to the public.

but i'm seeing the Darkness on december 3rd woooooooo!!!!!!

I can give or take the Darkness, but I must say I saw a band play "I believe in a thing called love", over the weekend and they did it a real credit, the rest of the gig was **** but then you can't have it all!! The song has also grown on me as a result.

Anyone heard of a band called Jet, they're from New Zealand I think - quality stuff.

I've been to a depressingly large amount of gigs over the years, although sadly enough, on the 12th and the 13th of December, I shan't be going to another one again. :(

I'm sorry to hear that, but for the chance of sounding rude I'd ask why, but enjoy what you can ;)

Saw the Stereophonics at the MEN Arena last night - ******* AWESOME!! :D I saw them about 5 years ago and they were good then, but last night they blew me away. 2 hours of classics and new stuff, and every song packs a punch + a 4 song encore.

Go see them if you get a chance.

I'm going to see Metallica in Earl's Court in December :D

Hopefully it'll be mostly their classic material because St Anger (in the lightest possible terms) sucked.
