mandy, slgs job is to measure wimmins boobs. i think she knows what she's talking about, as opposed to your sister who tells you to wear two bras that are clearly the wrong size for you.

    What.

Amanda, I measure boobs for a living. I have boob training. I know boobs. You're not wearing the right size. I can see from your picture that you're not a 34DDD. You're not even a DDD. You're probably a 36D, or DD at the mosssssssttttt (and that I highly doubt).

I don't really give a crap about your family habits. This is for your future knowledge, because you're going to eventually have to move out and buy your own bras. Wearing the wrong bra size can give you back problems, aches, and who knows what else. It's not about being cheap and lazy. Bras are an important hygienic and physical thing that you HAVE to wear properly. So when you move out, keep in mind, you should get yourself professionally measured.

That's a 34DDD. I'm glad you have the body of a porn star.

A size 34 means that you're 34 inches around your ribcage (right below your breasts). So unless you've got fine abs, you're probabbbbly a 36 or a 38 depending. And you're probably a D cup or a DD depending on the bra style. So to be safe go with a 36DD.

And don't worry about odd running sizes. I'm not even on the size chart of bras. ;)

whatever, fact of the matter is that double D tends to be too small, but triple is obviously too big. maybe they just don't sell the right size bra around here, because I have tried other sizes and they just never work. they end up hurting me actually. I actually don't know the size I have, all I know is that it fits, doesn't hurt me and I wear a sports bra on top of it because the cups are either too big or too small, one size down is too small and one size up is too big.

    sorry missed this....

all I have to say now is...Bras are too confusing. [face_frustrated] maybe they need to add a size to the chart for us weirdos.

I don't know, which is part of the problem...

edit: I just checked and my bra size is a 36DD. but since I'm a weird sized it looks weird when I don't wear a sports bra as well because my breasts fall out of the cups when I run, jump, ride my bike and sometimes when I'm just walking. this is why my sis thinks I need triple D, but that would actually be too big...there needs to be DD and a half...or a fourth...not sure

    1. Don't wear a sports bra *with* a real bra.
    2. You need full coverage cups. The problem is not with the size but with the style. You need full coverage cups.

Well, look at it this way. In a year or two when you're spinning around on a pole, at least you'll make enough for tuition.

That's more than some of us can say.

I'm a 75 C, though I tend to wear B if it makes them look better.

SLG: I do have full coverage. It's the only type that covers all my breasts obviously. Yet I still have that problem. We didn't think I would, but still.

ASG: I won't be twirling around on some pole...or spinning...or anything. wouldn't look good even if I wanted to do something like that.

You can get bras in triple Gs. My advice is to get fitted for a couple, you'll thank yourself. Seriously, buy one with plenty of side coverage and the right straps, and make sure you get the right cup size. A common mistake (that I use to make as a girl) was to go up on the ribcage size to cover the boob. And that gives you no real support or coverage. I'm a 38C or D, depending on the bra type, so I have to make sure I try it on first. But from what I'm hearing, the older you get, the worse it's going to be for you if you don't treat the girls right now.
