Glasgow Opening Night Tickets ON SALE NOW

Both the Odeon Renfield St and Odeon Quay in Glasgow city centre are showing Attack of the Clones shortly after midnight on the night of May15th / early morning of May16th.
Tickets are on sale for these early bird shows NOW for a paltry £4.50

By a trick of timezones and the One World release schedule, these showings are a full five hours before anyone in the US will be able to see the film.

It's got to be worth going to see it before the US -makes a change. Apart from all the people who get to see "test screenings". I am always amazed by the number of people who have relatives or shady friends who work for Fox/Lucasfilm

 

I'll be straight back from the cinema, three in the morning, onto the internet (bottle of buckie at hand, naturally), and getting stuck into the serious business of posting delirious threads about all the cool stuff the yanks won't see for ......oooh.......hours yet.

I wasn't planning to go at midnight but I am sorely tempted now!

We'll all be sound asleep by the end, but the very act of attendance on opening night can be worn as a badge of pride !

even tho the seats in the odeon are real bum bruisers...

 

Argh, I've been trying to book my tickets on the phone all day and now the phones are totally jammed.

Hundreds in the queue.

I got through, after a half hour wait, then it kicked me off when I was chosing which film I was booking for!

I'm enraged!

I am going to see it in Plymouth at midnight and then in Exeter at 11:30 the following day.

Neil went in yesterday and picked us up our tickets. Woohoo! He's not going though, but am pleased we got tickets

 

Well my tckets are safely hidden until opening night.

I would have thought we would receive news of test screening over the next couple of weeks.

Well I finish work at 9, so I have to somehow arrange for Shane and Kirsty to meet me at my work and then we all get into my car and be down at Glasgow for 12. Argh! Should manage it OK (hopefully - at least I know where I am going this time). Hopefully will miss the TV cameras And then drive back to Aberdeen when it is finished

 

Well the roads should be quiet and it's amazing how much light those camera's generate in your rear view mirror when it's dark

Yeah, the dual-carraigeway is about 2 seconds drive from my work, so wont have to drive through the city like I would if I was leaving from home. And I know all the speed cameras from Aberdeen to Perth, plus there are like 2 on the road from there to Glasgow, so speed speed speed all the way

 

I see my problems yesterday led to a double post - apologies.

So is there no midnight showing in Aberdeen? Very dedicated of you to drive to Glasgow for a film!

 

It hasn't been anounced. Glasgow is only a couple of hours away anyway (trying to convince he's not a geek)
