Glasgow, Scotland - opening midnight bash

I know there are quite a few SW fans in Glasgow, particularly remembering the "May The 4th Be With You" parties at Sleazies and the Garage.
(I was Drunk Vader, she was Daft Maul)
If you spot this thread, get in touch, and we'll see what can be done about a bit of opening night build up.
Getting support from Forbidden Planet / a1 comix / Bar Jedeye / Sleazies would be pretty easy if we want to make a meal of it.
And I work for the Scottish Media Group, if you fancy yir picture in the paper looking daft in Renfield Street......

Have you ever lurked in the 'Social countdown' over in AOTC spoilers?
I just popped in a few days back and its very ...... weird.
Absolutely no film discussion, but lots and lots of sort-of role-playing stuff.
People offering each other imaginary drinks - people giving each other imaginary baths, fer chrissake !
There's normal chat as well, but the real regulars are in there completely in character. Ewoks discussing their treehouses; a sith lord who can't aim his lightning properly; Darth Maul's slightly promiscuous widow !

the idea of an opening night gathering of some sort in Glasgow may or may not take shape, dependant on how many Scots actually look at this site

However, I can pretty much guarantee that Nice'n'Sleazies will run another "May The Fourth Be With You" party on May 4th, which will be pretty much at the height of the AOTC hype, and will be promoted via the tme-honoured medium of photcopy flyposting.
Keep it in mind, man, tis usually an amusing night.......
