Well atleast next year its the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars and it will be the CE event so more to look foward too!

Can't wait to see some of the photos we took today, especially of me in costume, and in my lightsaber duel with/evil-glared choking of spike. Next time round we'll enroll in a gymnastics course and do some back flips.

Should be some nice ones from Chinatown too, except the ones with me looking drunk/tired as hell (I was tired, you'll see, the sambuca shot glass was still full (and on fire))

Thanks, I remember seeing nlindenj there, as he was complaining about now being able to see well with his mask on. I think Vader said something similar in Empire Strikes Back. Or was it Return of the Jedi? Anyhoo, the SW costume-goers were blocking one of the 'lanes' of the convention with the amount of people wanting to take photos of them. Job done!

Wow, looks like you all had a great time - nice pics everyone. I so wish I could have been there. Had planned to attend the meal on Sat but got hit hard by the nasty cold virus - I'm not wuss enough to call it flu Roll on March

Hmm, not convinced our CR was there - just saw, on BBC, a video of a guy from the North dressed as Robin Hood throwing dollars in the air in New York. Looked a lot like our Sie

sorry for wobbling home so early but my cold has been getting on my nerves of late and i think it ought to go to bed... i'm a sissy but i think colds need to be pampered and made to feel welcome. so, after i have typed this darn letter to the tax people, i'll wobble home again.
