This poster is similar to my last one just a different planet.
Here's a few new pictures nothing really major.
Pierce Brosnan as Grand Admiral Thrawn
SPOILERS! Revenge of the Sith
Here's a new spoiler photo of Palpatine that's I've added holograms too.
Palpatine and the Utapau System
Palpatine and General Grievous
Palpatine and his new toy
I haven't really done any major posters or wallpapers in awhile because I getting ready to start college. I first day is tomorrow so once I get into the swing of things I'll make some new stuff.
Things are looking real good, Gobi-1!
The holograms in all of those images look very realistic. I know I wouldn't be able to render a hologram that accurately. Excellent job!
Ahh, college. Yea, I know what that road's like. I just started up the Spring semester last week. Well, good luck with everything and I hope to see you back with some new posters soon!
As I mentioned I just started college and so my parents bought a new printer for me and my sister, who is also in college, to use after our old one broke. This time we were able to afford one with a scanner!
So I will now be able to post my hand drawn artwork. I have a stack of drawings I've done over the years to show you guys so it will take me some time to get them all online, plus with school I'm now busy most of the week. My weekends are free so that's when I do most of my posting.
Anyway here's the first drawing I've scanned. It's a cartoon version of gadget master Q from the James Bond films.
Here's the real Q with 007.
Here's my drawing.
EDIT: Here's a color version of Q.
I'll get some Star Wars drawings up later.
Here's a portrait of George Lucas I drew way back in April of 2001.
I've slightly edited the photo to make it a bit darker and I'ved stretched it a little to make it wider. I had originally made him too thin.
They look great, Gobi-1! I love your style. It has a cartoony feel to it, yet it also has a realistic quality. The likenesses are also very good. Please post more!
As you wish.
Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.
I've slightly adjusted the contrast and fixed a small error.
Here's more drawings of Bond and the MI6 staff in the cartoon style.

I'll get some Star Wars pictures up when I can.
Whoa, those are a lot of drawings. Someone's been busy.
Interesting interpretations of the characters. They're simple, yet convey what they need to - just like real animated characters. I really like them. I also like how you included both the pencil drawing and the completed version. I can't wait to see the Star Wars ones!
Very nice stuff you've got there Gobi-1, just a guess here, your a James Bond fan right?
I made all of those Bond pictures back when my computer was broken. Now that I have a scanner I'll start drawing some new stuff. Give me a little while and I'll post some of my old Star Wars drawing.
Ok here's are my Star Wars drawings, some going back to 1995. I'll put a date beside the poster for when I made it.
Mace Windu (2000)
This one of Mace is from the comic book Acts of War.
Mace in The Phantom Menace
A New Hope Duel (1995)
Christopher Lee (2001)
I made these two drawings of Christopher Lee when it was reported in SW Insider that he had joined the cast of Episode II. I wasn't sure what his role in the film was so I drew him as a Senator.
This one is in an animated style.
Christopher Lee Animated
Nute Gunray (1999)
Obi-Wan in Episode II (2001)
Senator Palpatine and Chancellor Valorum (1999)
Palpatine and Valorum
Qui-Gon Jinn (1999)
I draw some new pictures in the next week or so.
Very nice stuff there Gobi-1, I especialy like the 2 first Mace images.
Here's a RotS wallpaper version of my Mace drawing.
I like that Mace wallpaper, and the EPII Obi-wan.
I'm a huge Disney fan so here's some of my Disney darwings.
Darkwing Duck (1991)
One of my all time best drawings. I made this when I was 9 years old.
Fantasia Alligator (2002)
Goofy and Donald Duck (199?)
Goofy and Donald
Hades from Hercules (1997)
Mushu from Mulan (1998)
This little picture I drew the night I saw Ebert and Roepers Attack of the Clone review on their show. Ebert hated it and Roeper loved it. I was angry at Ebert so I drew this picture after the show.
I've added color with my computer.
Aside from Star Wars, Disney is the next best thing! I love those drawings! And I have to agree with you about Darkwing, he looks excellent. You could be an animator.
Your Star Wars drawings are also excellent. You handle the coloring on the computer very well. It really stands out in your Mace Windu one. Excellent work!
Here's a rought General Grievous skech that I drew and colored in. It's not 100% accurate as this was my first time drawing him.
I'll be doing more drawings but it may be a couple of days because of college.
You've got some realy nice stuff here but this page is a killer even on broadband, I'd surgest changing some images to links as I cant imagine what its like on dial-up.
I'm on dail-up myself so it can take forever for me to see one or two images. I know how it feels. I'll change some of them.
EDIT: Ok I've changed most of them to links.
I really like that, Gobi-1. Excellent rendering of Grievous. The details are outstanding and I like the color scheme you chose. Can't wait to see more of your drawings.
I have some fantastic news. My local midday news did a report about a Star Wars fan waiting in line for Revenge of the Sith who was asked to move from the front of the theater.
You know the graphic they put in the corner beside the news anchor just before the report? They used one of my fan art posters!
I'm going to send them an e-mail explaining that it's not the real poster by something made by me. I'll also redirect them to my website.
I wonder if they themseleve chose the poster or if it was included with the report they aired. If it came with the report it's possibe my poster could be aired all over the country on different stations.
Wow, thats prety cool although they shouldent have realy shown your poster withought asking you IMHO.
Well see that's the thing. Who ever choose to use my poster may have thought it was the official one.
