Ok here's two new Casino Royale posters starring Ewan McGregor. I've found some great photos of him so I was playing around with them to see what I could come up with. The first one is fairly simple while the second one is much more elaborate.

Ok here's a new poster based on Raymond Benson's The Facts of Death. It's goes back to some of my earlier more painting like posters. That's Maria Menounos as the Bond girl Niki Mirakos. It came out looking a bit like a romance novel cover but I still think it looks pretty good.

I ended up using the same picture of Brosnan I used in Double Shot because I like the pose and I didn't want to have to try and find a new one.

I haven't posted in here since July nor have I made any Star Wars fan art since then but I intend to change that. I kinda lost intrest in making anymore Star Wars poster because I was having too much fun riding the wave of Sith mania. Now that the film is out on DVD and the hoopla has died down I'm compelled to make some new work.

My next project will be rather large and will take a while to complete. I've decided to do my version of the Saga DVD box set that's coming in 2007. I've already come up with a logo and a mock up of the box's cover so here they are as a sneek peek.

I just started working on the actual covers today as I've been playing around with a few design schemes. I haven't decided if I'll post the covers film by film or as one big post. I'm leaning towards the latter but will keep you inform.

 

As I already have two covers done I've decided to go ahead and post them. I decided to go for a simple classy style, instead of the floating heads covers out there now. Even though I choose a simple style these were very hard to put together as they caused my memory to start running slow.

Well done, Gobi-1--I'm liking these a lot. The images you used for each cover are well chosen and hit some of the more intense moments in each film, and I like the framing you used for those images, too. Including the opening "crawl" is also very original. These would look great on the DVDs--very nice work!
