Amazon in the U.K. and U.S. will sell a digital version with the bonus track "Midnight Hour Blues."

ESPN.com is streaming the entire album through the 29th.

Not including the bajillion bonus tracks.

EDIT: This would have made a better album cover.

Cool - I'm liking most of what I'm hearing. And I also like the existing cover - a nice nod back to Journeyman.

There should be an expanded version of that on Elsewhere soon.

I'm (obviously) not one of those Cream era-only fans who thinks that he should break out a '60 Les Paul and crank it up to 11, but I wouldn't have minded at least one epic guitar solo, which he is still quite capable of. That's part of the reason I wanted "Here But I'm Gone"; that produced some good playing from him live.

Maybe he shreds on one of the bonus tracks? Is 'Watch yourself' the same song as recorded for 24 Nights?

I imagine that at least a couple of the bonus tracks contain guitar solos, yeah. They're blues standards, after all. :p

There has been a delay in the manufacturing of the limited edition, so I got a "free" download of the album.

Jokes on them because my copy already shipped!

If the Best Buy blu-ray is about the same price as Amazon, I might as well get it.

AFAIK, Amazon doesn't have its own exclusive version... please no...

They played the whole album when I was in Barnes & Noble a week or two ago. It took me a few minutes to figure out who it was. Not really someone I'd connect with a New Orleans sound.

Ooh, nice. I'll have to find the Jools Holland whole show. "See Kings of Leon, that's how a white boy does it"

    And no strats!

A blogger on FB just posted this (wonderful) clip.

1969 - sure sounds like Clapton, not Harrison on that "stinging guitar".

Yeah, that's him, unless George was really feeling like copying his friend that day.

Well, I suppose it's better than that Hendrix strat.

Since the actual guitar is long gone (making a Blackie-level of detailed reproduction out of the question), they must just be reproducing the 1960 Les Paul, and surely they've done that before.

EDIT: Okay, without the nickel covers on the pickups, but still.

I read that as legendary banjo. I wouldn't put it past Gibson to release a Clapton sig banjo.
