Third time's the charm amiright?
" was stationed for three years at Zaragoza AB, Spain,"
@JoinTheSchwarz do you know this guy? I feel like you would have a lot in common.
When I first skimmed over that website I thought he had written that he was "stoned" for three years at Zaragoza, Spain. It all made sense.
After all this.... I vote creation museum field trip
Interesting thread here...
You must really hate yourself if you want to go to the Creation Museum. Or is this one of those "slow down and gawk at the horrible car accident" kinda things?
I need to go the Creation Museum... One day...
If you go, wear a T-shirt with this logo on it:
Oh, I've already been. I'd like to watch everyone in this thread go, though. Although I bet $5 that Vivec would be kicked out before he was past the first room.
But do you realize how bizarre this reasoning is? To end the unwarranted privilege of religious groups enjoy with the government, one can just file lawsuits to end those arrangements. As has been happening for over half a century now, to considerable effect. I don't see where this new tactic adds anything at all.
It is indeed hard to understand if you don't read the article.
I read the article before making my first comment in this thread. It's not a very sensible move.
The Ten Commandments monument is allowed because it's a "free speech" zone. They're probably correct that many of the supporters of the original monument are banking on that fact that no other groups will actually avail themselves of the opportunity to make their own monuments. But that doesn't mean that this move was at all sensible or coherent.
Atheism manifestly is not the important life-organizing prinicple for atheists that faith is for the Christians who put up the Ten Commandments monument. So why act as if it was? Why not erect some celebration of the things they actually do think are important in life? Why was angering someone with a political tit-for-tat worth so much energy, expenditure, and the evident misconceptions it creates about what atheism actually is?
Seeing that I actually am a Christian, probably won't be doing that.
Here we go...
So before we get another ten pages of "debate," is this Rogue_Ten's most successful troll thread ever or what? Do we have an official metric?
I must have missed the 1st ten pages of debate. Was it good?
Dunno. Check it out, let us know what you think
Lol maybe I will. Probably will get bored, I don't have the debate stamina I used to.
Around What page does it start on, if this is 32 for me?
The odds are very good that the discussion starts on page 1.
That's for you suckers who can't access page -5.
Yeah, well, serves them right for not paying the premium registration fee.
