Here are a bunch more pictures. I'm in love with the visual aesthetic for this movie; it looks like a dripping acid daydream. The only Marvel movies that even come close to this level of colorful vibrancy are Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange, and what we've seen of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Definitely my most anticipated MCU movie this year, which is no small feat given how much I loved the first GotG, how excited I am to see what looks to be a pitch-perfect rendition of my favorite superhero in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and how lukewarm I am on the first two Thor films.

Yeah, when the font changed for the movie title, I thought of bright 80s coloring and Masters of the Universe.

I don't mind the short hair, but I wish he was wearing his helmet.

A question for the comic book readers, but is his character related to the collector? Because they could be brothers.

 

I always forget Tessa Thompson is in this and then when I see her I go "Yay! Tessa Thompson!!"

Oh and I saw "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" which is by the same director (he also made "What We Do in the Shadows") and it's amazing. Both are amazing, actually. Very high hopes this'll be somewhat left of centre than what we expect.

 

They are a part of a group called The Elders of The Universe. They are all long lived if not full on immortal and very powerful. They each dedicate themselves to a singular pursuit. The Collector, well, collected things. The Grandmaster plays games for very high stakes.

 

Verily. We demand Th'Oreal.

Yeah, this smacks too much of the current comics for me looks-wise. The interior images are interesting though and I love how colorful it all is.

Thor better still be worthy in the movie. Cate Blanchett definitely looks like she's going to laugh hard or she's related to Loki. Or both.

 

Goldblum looks awesome and glad to see him in the MCU. Does Blanchett ever age?!

 

The only reason I know that is because I've been watching the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series.

I cannot believe this movie is actually real. Seems way too good to be true!

 

That's a scary look for Hulk. But does he really need weapons? Or armor?

 

No, but they're loads of fun.

 

Could be Asgardian materials in which case, as with the weapon, he might hit even harder.

 

It could be promotional material advertising as the first shot of Thor in his new costume was from something not unlike this. Whatever the case, that's fun. I am down for Hulk with a ridiculously big hammer smashing puny gods and the like. Or not (hopes Loki gets conked something serious.)

So, Hela is worthy of mjolnir? Moreso, I guess. Cate Blanchett looks badass as Hela. From the teaser, she looks like she'll be one of the better villains in the MCU.

Ragnarok looks so 80s/Master of the Universe. Can't wait for this flick!
