New Hamp Going on vacation

Hey guys and gals I'll be going on vacation this week, heading back to Canada. Yay! So i won't be on for a while and will miss next week's meeting. But I will keep an eye out for some nifty SW up there.

But make sure it's in a Star Wars bottle. (That's a good idea. I bet they'd sell more of that stuff that way.LOL!!)

Ok, well... here I am back from vacation. Overall, I would have to rate it no better than a 5... and here's why.

I get up to my parent's cottage in New Brunswick around 4 pm Atlantic time. Most of the time it rained on the drive. And it rained for the first 3 days that I was there. No hammock time! Most of that paet of the vacation was spent indoors, though on the second day we went to Fredericton and I found the Canadian exclusive McFarlane's Hockey Miikka Kiprusoff to add to my goalie collection

I did get a day and a half of sunshine and took full advantage of hammock time then. No bugs to worry about and the breeze felt relaxing on my toes... ahhhhh... The water in the lake was quite nice too. We went swimming once in the rain. First time that I did that, and seemed.. odd.. for some reason. Maybe cuz I never got dry lol. The other time was a nice sunny day, beautiful!

We left Saturday morning and went to Halifax. We arrived there around 2 pm at my sister's place. All three of my sisters were there and my young 7 yr old nephew, who is just getting into SW now . We had a great BBQ... awesome food! and then my little nephew put on a little SW show for us lol

We stayed at a hotel that night and after a hearty breakfast, we flew low to Yarmouth. I can't believe no RCMP were around. I don't think any calculator could figure out that fine.... lol Anyhoo, we took the Cat across to Bar Harbor, Maine. Nice trip.. did a little gambling in the Casino, and then played cards for most of the trip.

To make a long story short, we finally got home to our condo Monday morning, where we found our pet cat Boba dead We were both shocked beyond belief. We had hired a pet sitter and everything but it didn't matter. From what we can put together, he must have died Saturday sometime. I still can't get over that he's really gone. I swear he was the smartest cat that I have ever known. He'd talk back to you if you scolded him.. he could open cabinet doors easily, and he loved to explore everywhere. He would try to help you at whatever you were working at, and loved to play Sorry! lol He will be sorely missed
