There is a chance I might be going to Norway next summer. If so what do you recommend I see? I have been to Oslo and have seen the Kontiki, Fram, and Viking museum.

I also have been on a tour of the Sognefjord (which I will never pronounce incorrectly again, as I almost got sent to Sandefjord...twice!).

I have seen some of Bergen and the Fantoft Stavekirke.

One thing that I think would be interesting is to see the North Cape. What else is interesting? I would have about 2 weeks, and I would try to arrange it around syttende mai.

Jeg anbefaler at du ser mer av Bergen :)
Vi har noen fine attraksjoner, f.eks Ulriksbanen, fisketorget og Fløyen

I recommend that you see more of Bergen :)
We have some attractions, like the gondol, the fishmarket and Fløyen( a mountain ).

Siste gang jeg besøkt Norge, jeg se fløyen og fisktorget. Imiterlid, Bergen er byen jeg vil gjerne se mer av.

Last time I visited Norway, I saw fløyen and fish market. However, Bergen is a city I want to see more of!

    Takk for din svar!

    Thanks for your response!

Well, it appears that I will work two more weeks than I planned this summmer. Therefore, you guessed it, I am pretty sure, barring really unexpected expenses, that I will be in the land of the midnight sun come this time next year (actually I will probably be getting back this time next year).

FF Norway, have a meeting in May and I will be there with a viking hat and sword! :p

If you`re going to Norway, be sure to experience the exotic north! Tromsø, the largest city in the northernmost part, is often called "The Paris Of The North".
Bars and resturants per capita is one of the largest in Europe.

And if you're into bicycling, you should take "fjellheisen" ( a lift or gondol that takes you up the mountain ), watch the midnightsun, and cycle down Tromsdalen!

Tromso sounds pretty cool. Yeah I like girls (especially Norwegian (scandinavian)girls)!

Do you all know if it is hard to get a job (for non-eu students) in Norway? I would like to spend a summer there but I would need a job of some kind (plus it would help me learn Norwegian more quickly).

Interessant, når min far og jeg spør for to togbilleter fra Gjøvik til Sognefjord ei dame at arbeid i turistinformajon tro vi vil gjerne gå til sandefjord.

I guess Sandefjord is not as obscure a place as I thought.

Not much to see in Tønsberg. I can only come up with two things. "slottsfjellet, an old tower, muck like in LOTR. And the "viking- museum". You might enjoy the skeleton of a huge blue whale at this museum.
