    sorry if this is old news but in TPM when qui-gon, jar-jar, padme and r2d2 go to wottos shop for the first time after anakin and padme talk andout "angles" jar-jar touches this droid, it jumps up into a pile of junk and the gold c3po from starwars 4,5 and 6 is there, in this pile of junk!!!

    There are plenty of protocol droids that look almost identical to C3P0 with similiarly colored plating in the Star Wars universe.
