Someone will have to meet me at the station or else I'll get lost and die.

 

Which station and what time? Might be a good place for us all to meet up at.

 

Matt - Picadilly/Oxford Road/Victoria?

 

allow me to volunteer what station and i'll be there.

 

What station (Piccadilly or Oxford) is closest to the place? What time will everyone be meeting because my train times for arrival are pretty much on the hour, every hour. Is 10 o'clock Piccadilly okay?

 

I can make it for 10am at Picadilly. And yeah, Picadilly would be closest Matt. D'Fared - you want to meet there too? It may be best for me to get there to find Matt since I know what he looks like. Matt - we gonna see if Nic wants to come? I'll MSN her.

I doubt she'll be able to come, what with there being no event like Collectormania, and I think she has exams. I don't want to be blamed for her failures.

Ok, we have some details sorted. Now for rest.

Meet time: 10am Manchester Piccadilly (where in the station? Under the info big boards, entrance?)

Itinerary: Golden Orbit Fair - opens 12pm. We won't be at this place for that long in all reality. It's near a Forbidden Planet and Travelling Man, we can visit these.

Does anyone feel like a trip to Salford Quays? We can tram hop spend the afternoon there if you want.

Evening meal? Are we doing this? What type of food - Chinese, Indian, Italian, etc etc. A recommendation - there is a Wagamama in the PrintWorks - Japanese food, tastes nice - but let's see what people.

Departure time ...

Last two trains from Manchester Piccadilly to Southport on a Sat are - 9:35pm and 10:35pm. I'd probs be best being on the 9:35pm one just in case.

What is everyone else's needed departure time, so we can work out when best to get to Piccadilly (just checked, I can get the 8:35am train in morning to get in form 9:45am) - gives me enough time.

 

Well, I don't mind what we do in Manchester, but I will most likely leave before the evening meal, because ideally I would like to be back for before 10 so I can catch my last bus home. This would mean setting off from Manc about 7. If we do eat before then though, I don't mind where, as I'm not of a food fan anyway, I'll probably just get something to drink and few nibbles! As for where to meet at the station, under the big screen next to the exit would be best, I think!

 

I've got two choices for me, I could either get the 9:01pm train from Manchester Victoria (Which goes to my stop) or get the 9:47pm train from Piccadilly (Which means I have to get off at the station before mine. which isn't too bad since it's a 20 min walk to my house)
I can get into Piccadilly at about 10am but I don't know the layout that well so I don't know wheres best to meet.

I don't mind going down to Salford Quays, since i've never been before. I'm happy to try Wagamama, was looking forward to going at the last Gmex meet

 

salford quays is alright, although i'm not so sure what to do there except hobble around and look at harbour city. maybe we just wait for the weather?

We could just find a nice place to sit and chat if you all want, after doing the fair and a few shops. I'll have a think myself about Manchester - going to be central area most likely.

Like I told the Tim on MSN, we could always have a look around the fetish/goth/emo shop. There's a good 10 minutes of high-octane fun there.

Weird more than funny, last Saturday when I went to L'pool I had a Emo girl come up to me and ask for a hug I just carried on walking.
