Golden Years

It is six years before the battle of Yavin and
it is a time of great change for the galaxy.
The Empire is expanding out in all directions.
Pouring forth from Imperial shipyards are the
carriers of this expansion: the IMPERIAL FLEET.
Throughout the galaxy this is a new name that is
beginning to sow fear and doubt in the hearts of
smugglers and free-beings alike.

Already civilian defense forces are being
phased out in favor of heavy warships and
large carriers commanded by Imperial
Captains. One of the last vestiges of civilian
security is the OUTLAND REGIONS DEFENSE
FORCE. Unfettered by the Empire, the ORDF
continues to patrol the Outer Rim in the face of
ever growing Imperial dominance.

On the planet Bestine, Governor Elerad is
contemplating turning his planet over to star-
ship construction. The IMPERIAL FLEET is
being mobilized and expanded everyday and
soon there will be no stopping it. The Governor
wishes to see Bestine rise in power and the fleet
seems the best avenue available. He now travels
to IMPERIAL CENTRE to speak to the IMPERIAL
SENATE.

As Governor Elerad prepares to bring Bestine
into a union with the Empire, Senator Ablan
Helion wishes to sever all ties with it. Having
seen first hand the power of the Empire?s new
STAR DESTROYERS being built over his very
world, Helion endeavors to flee to the Outer Rim
with the help of a smuggler cabal lead by Rin'la Dor'ra.

Elsewhere, a JEDI KNIGHT is fleeing the Empire
as well. Tessan Blithe is on the run from Imperial
authorities, but even with the help of the FORCE,
Tessan does not know that an elite JEDI HUNTER
has been dispatched by LORD VADER himself to
find Tessan and retrieve her if possible, kill her if
necessary....
