FF:QLD Goobs and K's gathering for the celebration of stuff..Saturday nightish

I moved into Goobs abode as I think everyone's aware. Yes we're fighting over the remote and puter room time and I've moved all his socks to another place he can't find, but all in all it deserves some mention and alcohol usage. A continuance of BBN's birthday celebrations would be good too. I also got some of those official papers of divorcement and whilst not cause for joy, also deserves some drinks. Hell I'll take any excuse

Saturday night people are welcome, after 7ish. If anyone wants to marathon anything or can think of something we SHOULD see as a group, good time to discuss and do so.

Guess I should run this past GOobs. Hmm.

 

I would be there, though it's my birthday on saturday and i'm having drinks down my way and going out with someone special on friday.

but anywho, have fun!

That sounds like a story worth hearing.

I'm sure I'll swing by to this thing. I'm actually thinking now that having drinks and watching DVDs with you guys would be more fun than going to the pub or something like that. Double celebrations are fun, after all.

 

Well I did just get Robotech Protoculture Edition Today.... And you know we never did finish watching the series as a group... Hmmmmm

 

I've just realised that I told my brother that I would be home Saturday night and would help him plan his party. I might be able to work it that I can drop by later in the evening though.

 

Unless some of the planning involves taking over a small nation, it shouldn't take you too long.

If it DOES involve you taking over a small nation (for the venue I'm assuming) I've got a few ready made plans already that'll fast track it for you. You after an island nation or a small continental country?

I was thinking of bringing around Batman: Mask of the Phantasm if anyone's interested.

...as long as it's not in any MMORPG sense of nation-taking-over-ing.

Although...some MMORPG TF2 could be intermeresting...


Er, anyway, with me working this evening I'll leave it up to Kahlan to announce anything you may need to bring.

 

No nations require taking over - as far as I am aware, venue is already organised.

Frozen snack foods are always good for bringing..wedges, dim sims, pizzas. Stuff for nachos. Anything. Servo is 5 minutes away.
Oh and drinks.. drinks.

Watching Batman..Mask of the thingy is something we've meant to do for a while, so that sounds cool. But yeah bring any cool DVD's. Robotech is always a good option G. That mean you're making an appearance?. Be good to see you.

I was also just reminded by the guy that lives here ( I'll get his name straight soon) that we found a version of a cute movie about a robot type machine. Not sure what sort of quality it is yet, or if anyone else wants to see it..quite yet, but..hey, it's here. I'm remaining calm becasue I'm torn between being VERY excited about that and not wanting to see an inferior product. HMMMMM.

Spare double bed upstairs and 3 couches if anyone wants to crash.

Turns out party plotting maybe happening next week - so I should arrive around the time stated.

I will be there but not for too long due to a recent bout of non-wellness.

Was good to have people here to make it feel like a home where friends can come. Sorry it wasn't more of a rip-roaring party type party but enjoyed watching what we did with everyone.

Hope our place is somewhere you guys can feel comfy.
