You are not on my team.
And you have terrible breakfast choices.
I would have said Pizza.
GIMER have you looked at your team roster? I could type 15 adjectives in a row and they would still think it makes sense.
I´m still at a complete loss as to when our team (Literati) starts.
First round matches will start after the opening round matches end.
Both the Beatles and Tom Hanks questions are tough, imo, because there are so many possible choices, and you have to try to think like the people who were polled.
I've come to talk trash to everyone. Flare sent me.
I picked my team to be interesting.
Sometimes that's what is needed in this game.
Well, I suppose it makes up for all your wrong answers
We only had two wrong answers.
The other team had 3.
Just trying to calculate your right answers to points ratio.....
Going to try and divide by zero again?
We lost the first round by a coin toss.
and I think the teams involved are now discovering that.
For a pancake team you should be a better bunch of tossers...
I don't see why a coin toss is necessary -- aren't the pm's sorted chronologically, so that even if the time shown in the "Date sent" column is the same, the lower of the two was actually sent first, by a matter of seconds? Seems like that should decide, not a coin.
And what did I say about that Beatles question being tough -- Yesterday wasn't even on the list.
It's from the time they open their PM until they respond. Not the first one in according to board time.
The problem with that, yankee, is that it gives the advantage to people closer to my own time zone and/or who are on at the same time as me. I'm trying to eliminate that bias. Someone shouldn't get a bonus just for being lucky enough to be on the same time I'm sending the question.
Combined with what Roper said, of course.
Especially with all the different time zones we have players from.
Yes, I think the Beatles question is going to be very difficult to get them all.
Aye, should be a fun round
I think the problem with Yesterday is that it is more of a solo song, rather than a group song, so if you're asked on the spot to think of a Beatles song, you're gonna go with a group thing rather than a solo one.
Yesterday was the first song that popped into my mind at once. I would have never thought it's not even on the list!
I toss better by myself or with just one other person, than in a group setting.
I like hashbrowns as well as the next person, but I thought fruit would be a more popular choice, with oranges, berries, grapefruit...
Just remember, if you go to McDonald's for breakfast, think about what their 12 (or whatever ungodly number it is now) value meals all have in common: hashbrowns.
Super Size me!
They also have sausages
