GIMER have you looked at your team roster? I could type 15 adjectives in a row and they would still think it makes sense.

 

I´m still at a complete loss as to when our team (Literati) starts.

 

First round matches will start after the opening round matches end.

 

Both the Beatles and Tom Hanks questions are tough, imo, because there are so many possible choices, and you have to try to think like the people who were polled.

I don't see why a coin toss is necessary -- aren't the pm's sorted chronologically, so that even if the time shown in the "Date sent" column is the same, the lower of the two was actually sent first, by a matter of seconds? Seems like that should decide, not a coin.

And what did I say about that Beatles question being tough -- Yesterday wasn't even on the list.

 

It's from the time they open their PM until they respond. Not the first one in according to board time.

 

The problem with that, yankee, is that it gives the advantage to people closer to my own time zone and/or who are on at the same time as me. I'm trying to eliminate that bias. Someone shouldn't get a bonus just for being lucky enough to be on the same time I'm sending the question.

Especially with all the different time zones we have players from.

I think the problem with Yesterday is that it is more of a solo song, rather than a group song, so if you're asked on the spot to think of a Beatles song, you're gonna go with a group thing rather than a solo one.

 

I toss better by myself or with just one other person, than in a group setting.

I like hashbrowns as well as the next person, but I thought fruit would be a more popular choice, with oranges, berries, grapefruit...

 

Just remember, if you go to McDonald's for breakfast, think about what their 12 (or whatever ungodly number it is now) value meals all have in common: hashbrowns.
