Well, since I need to get up early as usual, I am off.

 

I have my Chemistry regents on Tuesday wish me luck! I think I really need it... It feels like school should just be over already!

That's a bummer, William. I hope it doesn't turn into anything serious. After getting over this cold, I don't wish it on anyone.

 

Well, it's time to kick off another Monday with my accomplishments for last weekend:

Got air conditioner fixed. It's no longer 95 degrees upstairs in my house. A few of my toys are suffering from "heat bendage". There was a Wonder Woman toy that was on a little stand that had bent over at a 90 degree angle, sagging under her own top heavy weight.

I finished reading a book. A Handful of Dust by Evelyn Waugh. It's a very good read, I recommend it. It is considered a classic though, so you can't go wrong.

Bought a new suit. I'm going to the theater this next weekend. Got to look good.

Discovered a new recipe for nachos. Less tomatoes, more cheese. Yum. Maybe I'll share it in the recipes thread

Washed car.

Tried out three new types of jam: blueberry spread, dewberry and lingonberry. Dewberry is awful; the jam of the devil, it is.

I did all this and also managed to sit around and watch television some too. How do I cram all that graham?

 

Man, you were quite the task accomplisher this weekend. I need to wash my car too. Tis rather dirty.

 

Thanks Kate. I hope it doesn't develop in to anything more than it is. I had my OJ this morning and will have some chicken broth tonight.

 

A guy I know thought he had a cold once. Then it turned out that he really had scoliosis. I don't know how he got the two confused though. He must of had brain damage too.

 

I once thought I had a humpback. Turns out a squirrel had nested on my back. My bad.

 

Kate, was it the Debocratic squirrel?

 

Lately, squirrels haven't been doing so well in my area. They're easily the leading victims of roadkill.

I wonder, with all the squirrel killings by car, if the squirrel gene pool has been cleansed so that only the super smart squirrels are still alive, and if this trend continues, if the squirrels will get smarter and smarter, slowly moving up the evolutionary scale until one day they will have to fight the apes and the artificially intelligent machines for domination of the planet. Humans will be relegated to pets (for the apes), batteries (for the machiness) and decorative antiques (for the squirrels) by that time.

 

Well, it is bed time. CYA all tomorrow.

 

I hope these super-intelligent uber-squirrels do not feel the need to exact revenge for their compadres that were killed or maimed as a result of the wet squirrel beatings I participated in at your suggestion. That's just what I need.
