Well, good morning everyone. It's Monday, but I have Friday off so yay!

 

Yes! Short week! I'm going to try to go camping again this weekend. We're going canoeing as well.

In addition to meeting Harland Williams Friday, I went to the theater on Saturday night to see a performance of the Music Man. Near the end of the play, as the band was coming onstage, this little kid was carrying the bass drum. He had lagged behind since he had some trouble getting on stage with the large drum attatched to his chest, so he started running to catch up, and fell really hard on the stage It was funny, but I felt bad for laughing.

I also bought myself a new, state of the art progressive scan DVD player. I'm watching my movies in even higer resolution now

 

I just got home and found two guys mistakenly mowing my lawn, as they were supposed to mow my neighbors. At first I was a little mad, thinking my privacy had been invaded. Then I realized that, hey, I just got my lawn mowed.

 

For free? Nuthin like a free lawn mowing.

Of course, I bet they were a little ticked off after doing all that work on your lawn, but, hey, not your issue.

 

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been around much today. I'm doing some research trying to find a new subwoofer for my living room.

It's quiet here at work now. I love it when it's quiet like this. I hear nothing but the hum of an airconditioner, and a bunch of tap dancing fingers, tapping their little dances out on their keyboards. Clickety-clack clack clickty clip.

 

When I tried to make this post, snowboard started freaking out going, "Does not compute! does not compute!" bumping into wall after wall until finally exploding in a plume of smoke and flames.

 

Morning all. John, I hope your office doesn't have that lingering metallic smell from snowboards exploding. When it did that to me, it stuck around for weeks!

Saturday, I'm going canoeing down the Buffalo river with a bunch of Irishmen. If that's not a recipe for wacky adventure, I don't know what is.

 

John, if you meet up with a bunch of strangers and one of them tells you "You got a purty mouth".....run.

 

...but then the hilllbillies will think I don't know how to take a compliment. And if there's on thing I can take, that's it.

 

Methinks that's not all your gonna be taking if you accept that compliment.

 

Well, I'm off for the weekend. I hope this place isn't too boring in the meantime
