Morning campers! Hope everyone has a good day. It's supposed to be a record high here. Which, compared to Arizona, is really nothing.

 

Guess what? Now that my horribly sunburned legs are starting to heal, it seems I also stepped in a patch of poison frickin' ivy this last weekend. I didn't notice it before since my legs were jerkified, but now they itch badly. It's like my lower legs have turned into hemmoroids.

 

So....anyone hear any good jokes lately? I've got one:

This guy walks into a bar, and then takes $5 from the bartender...wait, no, no I screwed up. Hang on...

I just looked up the movies currently playing at my local tavern. They've got Pirates of the Caribbean, T3, and 28 Days Later all showing this week Whoo-hoo!

 

I know, there's a lot to keep my busy this weekend.

 

Wow! Kick-ass, Jon! You need to go on a Saturday afternoon and watch all three in a row...

 

Morning. Happy Thursday. I'm painting most of the day today. We're moving our offices around so I've got to get two offices painted today and tomorrow. And it's going to be record heat here today. Oh joy.

 

I don't think I could make it through three movies there, Sammy. They serve beer, so by the third movie, I'd be rolling down the center aisle

I had a terrible crisis this morning. The "D" on my laptop broke off! I was horrified that I'd have to spend the next few weeks avoiding sentences like "Dan dislikes Dolly Parton" or "Did Dave dislodge the door?" Luckily, with about five or six people standing around my computer, we managed to get it fixed.

By the way, I don't recommend typing with tape on your hands.

 

Remember that part of Monsters Inc where the Yeti gives the guys those yellow snowcones? That was hilarious.

 

I loved that part! Did you also notice that Yeti was the same snow monster from the Rudolph cartoon?

Okay, painting is a hard job. Kudos to people who do it full time because, I tell ya, it's difficult. The walls were okay, but painting the ceiling makes me dizzy! Or that could have been the paint fumes. I'm not quite sure.

 

Another day of painting ahead. Happy Friday guys and gals.

 

At least your doing something productive Kate. Me, I'm just wasting my time away, endlessly speculating on things I have no control over. Except lunch. The real decision of the day is what I should have for lunch.

Only 3 more workdays until vacation!

 

Sorry, I wasn't on yesterday guys, I went shopping, plus we went through 3 storms here at home

When I got home at about 11 pm, the internet wasn't working

Sorry about the storms, Jenny. Nothing better than sitting in a house where the electricity's off and you read by candlelight. Unless, of course, you do other things by candlelight.

 

I think I should go down to where my internet server is. I got online last night and about 11:00 pm it disconnected and would not re-connect until about 10 this morning. Then today at about 6:00 pm it disconnected and didn't re-connect until just now

 

I'm thinkin' you should get some serious credits on your account, Jenny. That stinks.
