Oh, come on now! Green ketchup is good stuff!

There are many things I will eat. Green ketchup is not one of them.

We have ketchup of both the purple and green variety at my house.

 

I'll have to agree with Jess on that one....green-colored ketchup is disgusting...

 

It tastes just like red ketchup!

But I hsave to say, my family went somewhere for breakfast on St. Patrick's Day one year, and they had like green grits, and green ham, and green other stuff. I refused to eat any of it.

 

I'm sure it does...I just think the fact that it's green is what messes with my mind...so I end up not liking it...

 

So, do you only eat brown M&M's because the others have artifical coloring?

 

Oh no. I only apply that formula to certain foods. And M&Ms have always been various colors. Ketchup (or Catsup...however one looks at it... ) has always traditionally been RED, so any deviation from that particular way of things results in me being "grossed-out"...if that makes any sense whatsoever....

 

Alright, so you use the philosophy that tomatoes are red, so ketchup should be red as well, right?

Trust me, I understand your logic. It still grosses me out when my dad eats fries, he mixes the purple ketchup with some other things and it turns into this brown stuff. Nasty!

 

I went to Dr. Suess land in Universal Studios last year and had a green eggs and ham sandwich. Man it was good. I ate it plain, I ate it in the rain.

I'm also fond of artificially colored blue food and drink, because they're just aren't enough naturally occuring blue foods. The only problem is that it turns your pee green.

 

Green pee. Hm... And I went to the very same Dr. Suess land last year, but I skipped the green eggs & ham sandwhich.

My graduation cake last year had some black icing on it, and that turned everyone's poop green. That was interesting.

After ingesting all these different pigments and dyes over the course of our lives, I bet if they ever have to cut us open, a rainbow will spring out. Like a skittles commercial.
