Have you ever heard their "The Dance" live album. Very good album. They put some new twists on some of their old songs.

I remember listening to Albums of FM, BTO, CCR, Foreigner, Europe, and REO speedwagon. Those were the days :) I high quality diamond needle was the epitome of sound :)

I've hear some vinyl die-hards say that an album actually sounds better than a CD, on the first play.

I was just listening to some NPR (National Public Radio) and one of those diehards said that DVD audio sounds better than an LP. DVD audio is going to be awsome especailly when they make it affordable.

Yes! I am also looking forward to that. There is a lot of budding technology out there. Have you seen the new CDs at best buy? I think they are called Enhanced or something. But I guess you need an enhanced player to listen to them.

Then there is DVD stuff. There is blue laster technology, which will allow for more sectors on a DVD, at least doubleing the capacity.

And whats that new DVD technology called/ Nero? Nuron? Nuon? It lets you plug a controller into your DVD player and play games.

Lots of exciting stuff. Warp speed, scotty.

I don't know about the gaming DVD player. It has been out for awhile and really hasn't caught on.

A friend of mine got it...she said it was pretty cool. I'm sure that if studios start using it more, it could become pretty big.

That is like Phillips making a home theater receiver/computer. Good idea I think, it was a true computer in the receiver. You could play your MP3s, videos, etc right to your receiver. It was the only model. I haven't seen another one yet.

Yeah, I think that is the future...everything will be built into a computer. Instead of upgrating the entire system, you just pop in a new card, etc.

Heck, most people can't even operate a VCR, let alone an entire media system.
