LA, CA Good or Lucky Things that Happened at Work 3

I noticed today that the internet is particularly active when people are supposed to be working. This made me laugh a little bit. I guess that fits the topic?

 

Pfssh, and particularly INactive after 4pm or so.

 

Hey the only time to post is at work. We are very slow right now. If I were to cram all my work together for the day it would probably only fit into an hour or two. The rest I'm just surfing the new posting on Facebook or something.

 

I got free lunch yesterday from this hamburger restaurant at my project site! I ordered pancakes.

 

Pancakes for lunch. That's pretty heavy.

I'm digging this Blackberry thing that I got from work. I just love it. I can surf the web answer emails both Yahoo and work, IM people and keep up on Facebook. It's amazing. How did people live before it?

 

Let see- we went to tam O'Shanterns for my eight year anniversary two weeks ago. Had Prime Rib and beer. mmmm... beer.

JR/SR- ever have Prime Rib or Steak?

 

I got free pizza yesterday.

 

Nothing good has happened yet but then nothing bad has happened either today. I was expecting an April Fools joke but nothing yet.

 

You guys are making me hungry!

I had a big workshop today at work and it went swimmingly! I didn't have to do any talking, my boss did all of the talking (which is great) and despite printing problems I was able to print just enough handouts for everyone! Yeah! Plus management was impressed with our ingenuity.

 

Because I'm working at home and can set my own crazy hours, I just woke up!

 

JB you do lead the life.

The rest of the day should go very well. I'm feeling happy though I have to go to a meeting tomorrow and I'm dreading it. I'll report back tomorrow on that.

When one works at home, one is always kind of at work. Like right now, between postin' and hangin' out online? Yup, I'm workin'. What's good or lucky about it? Well, I'm home, in sweats, and have work on one monitor, and fun on the other!

 

I have to go to a management meeting this morning for my boss which is bad but the good thing is I have to leave early to take my mom to the doctor so I can't stay for the whole meeting.

I wish the printer would work again...

 

I stole a table from Chris Rock's office this morning!

The good thing that happened today, I do not have to go to that meeting after all. My boss came in time to go instead. Yeah!

 

I just woke up! But I worked until 4ish last night so...

Anyway, just going to do a few things then it's off to get stuff done for the wedding! Woooo!

 

I ended up not going back to the office because by the time I was done helping my mom it was almost time to go home. Oh well.

 

There is a carnival at Normandie and 158th St, which is walking distance from my office.

I may go ride the Bumper Cars after work today.

 

Hmmm much anger I sense in you, other bumper racers beware, yesss!!

 

I got to ring up Eric Stoltz. Huge fan of him as a teen. He came back and I sucked up all my fears and just started talking to him and we ended up having a nice conversation.I also rang up Lesley Ann Warren,Missi Pyle and Rip Taylor. Now I can die! unless Phyllis Diller plans on coming in soon.
