Amph Gotham - the TV series

One thing I do like about this show is how often it's the bad guys to the rescue. First it was Falcone in the pilot rescuing Jim. And now it's Penguin rescuing the future Dark Knight.

Also Butch was awesome with how nonchalant he was about the whole thing.

 

The resolution to Azrael reminded me of this:

 

Yeah, Bullock's press conference was one of the best elements to last night's episode. Eddie's jail scene was pretty funny too.

Yeah, I hate that. I thought the dude was going to be Clayface. I thought that would be amazing if that was the case.

Fish Mooney has some kind of special power.

I kind of like having that character back.

Well, that was an interesting finale; the final minutes moreso than anything else.

Yeah, but fake Gordon was pretty funny with his over-the-top facial expressions and exaggerated movements and reactions.

I keep wanting Hugo Strange to say, "Oh my..."

 

Still don't understand why they don't just add new character named Pamela Isley and leave Ivy Pepper as is... would make far more sense than such a drastic change a character who still won't have the same name as the character she's supposed to be.

 

It just occurred to me that I created this thread and then never watched this show. How is it?

 

I liked the first season more than the second with the Penguin trying to ascend in the ranks of organized crime.

I wish the show would turn the city of Gotham into a character much like the island was a character in the LOST TV show.

 

Great pics! I can't wait to see what Fish has in store for us with her powers.

 

I read a couple of weeks back that the show is recasting the Poison Ivy character, which I don't have a problem with as the show really didn't do much with the previous actress.

I wonder if Gordon will bring back Dr. Thompson in the upcoming season.

 

Watched S2 a few weeks ago, I think this season is stronger than last season because I love how crazy it's getting, even moreso than Season 1. the Jerome / Joker thing is interesting because it keeps the "multiple choice" Joker origins but Jermoe is really just a symptom of Gotham's madness and it's still spreading in different places. Jerome merely pushed it to the forefront and it's still there. Hugo Strange in the 2nd half of the season was a stronger baddie than the order of Dumas. Ed going full Riddler was really entertaining and I loved his showdown with Gordon when all was revealed. And those final seconds with dopelganger Bruce Wayne was just wacky. I guess he might be Tommy Elliot? Who was locked up by Hugo because... because?

I do wish Evil Jim Gordon would stick around. Ben Mckenzie got to play it so to the hilt it was genius.

Also I hope Penguin doesn't have to climb the criminal ladder yet again. Just keep him as the King of Gotham, it's more entertaining that way.

 

I think season 3 will be better than either of the previous two seasons based on the synopsis below.
