Complete garbage. No sense of danger. No sense of conflict. At no point did it ever feel as if anyone was in even the slightest bit of jeopardy. How Sabine wasn't shot in the opening is beyond me. Kanan and Ezra have become the most powerful Jedi ever, without any real training. Hera was the only one who had any moxie. She should be the focal point of the show. And now they completely ruined the show by introducing Ahsoka as Fulcrum.

An enjoyable conclusion to what has been a good 1st Series.

I would've liked for the story to have taken place on Mustafar, but oh well.

    9/10.

If it had actually taken place on Mustafar, it would have felt a lot more dramatic. So far my canon count is 0 Jedi died on Mustafar.

I'd say I hated the opening, but after a full season of the stormtroopers being non-threatening, I'm a bit numb it it. Pablo had once clarified (I think in one of the Rebel Recons) that stormtroopers aren't all the same and that some of them are elite squads, such as the ones that attack the Tantive IV, while others are like the ones on the Death Star that never managed to hit anything.

In TCW the B1s were the stupid cannon fodder, with the B2s a step up, and the commandos and droidekas posing the more serious threats. I don't know how they are going to handle that in Rebels. They don't really have anything to graduate to when a real threat is necessary. I am curious as to whether or not they'll invent some kind of elite trooper, or if we'll see an elite squad or something. Pablo gave me hope, but we've yet to see them pose a threat.

And while the ones on the Death Star couldn't hit anything, they were still threatening enough that the heroes had to run away (Han runs, the heroes escape into the garbage chute, Luke and Leia flee across the chasm, Luke blasts the door controls in the hangar). In Rebels, the heroes too often turn around and taunt the stormtroopers for sucking. It's one thing when the heroes can't get hit due to plot armor, but still react to the stormtroopers as if they're a threat. It's another thing when they have plot armor and take the opportunity to taunt the stormtroopers as having bad aim.

I agree there - the Stormtrooper incompetence doesn't bother me anymore (never really bothered me that much to begin with). What did bother me with the opening though, is that Sabine was jumping around in ways that we've only seen Jedi do before. Seriously - that bounce off a Stormtrooper's head? Yeah, I would've accepted that for a Jedi, but not Sabine.

I was thinking about the Tie-Fighter from, "Fighter Flight," turning up again.

At first I thought it was a cool way to make that episode relevant in the overall season arc, rather than just filler.

After seeing how the episode played out though, the more I thought about it, it was lame. They wound up having to steal an Imperial Freighter anyway, which was parked among at least 6 or so Tie Fighters. Not only that, but Sabine makes her way over, onto, and under each one to plant bombs. I would think they could have just had her steal one at that point.

Kind of silly what a big deal they made it that they needed a Tie, when no matter what, they were going to have to steal a ship anyway.

I dropped it a point for the mess with the timing.

Somehow Fulcrum is contacted by Chopper whilst on the mission he fled the system met Fulcrum and her corvettes who still had time to pick up the ghost wherever it was left and returned just as they were escaping on those TIEs... almost as bad as that blue shadow virus trilogy from TCW!

Fulcrum need not be at the same location with the Blockade Runners, though.

There's possibility that she was en route to -- or even already on -- Lothal to really emphasize the importance of leaving Kanan behind. Chopper contacted her, she contacted Bail, Bail mobilizes the Blockade Runners.

Bail himself had said that them corvettes came from "Other Rebel cells". Which may be spread across many systems. They all rendezvoused at the coordinates Chopper gave.

Chopper was no fool; that droid maybe purposefully fly away to calculate the best position for Fulcrum et al to 'jump back into' normalspace. Far away from the SDs' laughably-short range turbolasers, but near enough to 'capture' the team's escape vessel(s).

Yeah Tiger Crane Fist I thought that myself about Sabine's acrobatic prowess. I mean that was some Jedi level jumping I seen her doing. Make you think? But I gave this episode a 10/10. It was absolutely fantastic! Seeing Ahsoka and Vader in the same episode just made me want to see season 2 that much more!

3/10 is being generous. Dull city and the animation quality is still pretty poor. Plus, Ahsoka's ladeeda manner about blowing her own cover is soooo unprofessional and nonsensical. Nothing of any real import happens. Absolutely *zero* tension or cause to care about characters. Too video gamey. A right shame.

Hey, between her and Carrie Fisher now, I'd go with Ahsoka! Can't get much more porn star-esque as Princess Leia in the slave outfit.
