Nice idea but it went bit wrong- Hughes-Jar Jar is nearly killing me:oops: though but he is less irritating in this than in Gungan General and Vindi saves this episode:p .... i really like this mad scientist added to SW idea while it may be bit cliché but i was really disappointed Vindi did not became recurring villain:(.... hopefully he does return in great prison break and strike back with something more deadly than bsv[face_devil] :p

    2. What a despicable little episode. Other than the bit of action in the end, this was a disaster through and through.

    - They have the chance to introduce us to a new gungan character, maybe do more justice to the species, and what do we get? Pepi, the pink farmer with another annoying voice. Ugh.
    - Don't get me started on Vindi. The sheer lack of creativity put in this character turns my stomach. SO glad we never heard from him again.
    - Jar Jar is more annoying than EVER here, and with Mr. Hughes on top.
    - Jedi have no TK.
    - Anakin's wife is tortured by a little punk cientist, and he submits?!

    - Droidekas rolling on the walls was cool.

I think a score of 2 was quite generous of you, Gry.

Could have been better I suppose, but only if they took out 75% of the characters and content. :p

Will watch tonight and give my review, but I remember thinking "of course the outbreak happens on Naboo", and "of course Padme is a big fan of Yellow Submarine".

    2. This was painful. I'm actually finding myself laughing at how terrible and ridiculous it was.

-Get rid of B J Hughes, now.
-Watching this makes me think all the Gungans are either Jar Jar clumsy idiots or Tarpals goofy warriors. Not looking forward to Season 4's Gungans. So dumb.
-Voice acting all around was pretty weak in this one.
-Dialogue sloppiness again ie. "medical heroics"
    -Stupid and predictable plot.
-Very rushed ending whereby everything works out great was awful.
-Vindi is annoying mad German scientist stereotype.

After finishing this rant I wanted to go down to a 1 but I had already voted, so sucks to be me.

2/10. Didn't mind Vindi as much as others did, but this episode really didn't have anything to recommend it. I think that this was probably the point at which my general dislike of Padme Episodes began. It's really quite baffling why the authorities think it's a good idea to send the Republic's most shot at senator into situations that seem to have little to do with the senatorial representation of Naboo.

8/10 for me. This is one of those episodes that has a lot of facepalm moments, but in the end is fun to watch. The ending battle was probably one of the best so far in TCW, and returning to Naboo and seeing how the TPM elements had changed since the war began was interesting. ALso, the animation was striking for a Season 1 episode.

But of course, the episdoe had its drawbacks. For one, it was the first time I began to realize that Padme was getting a little annoying. BJ Hugues definitely grated on my ears, and Vindi was laughable.

In the end, while I found myself yelling at the TV a few times, I spent the rest of the time thoroughly enjoying myself, so I only took two points off. I don't think I'll be as generous with the sequel, however... [face_sick]

+ Vindi is so the over-the-top, ridiculous, mad-scientist that I could not help but enjoy his antics. Yahyahyahyahyah!
+ great action sequences - especially Jedi base jumping into smoke and explosions.

I have to admit I laughed at a few of Jar Jar's foolery, but he gets old quick.
I always liked Peppi Bow in this episode and now see that she was voiced by Kalifa's voice actress: Gwendoline Yeo; a role that must have tested her abilities. (We need you to sound like a female Gungan. Listen to Jar Jar, but think female version. *cringe*)

    - the phallic-like, utterly useless looking ship that Padme pilots. What the hell is it good for other than a giant, flying periscope?
    - Why do Jedi sometimes use their Force powers and sometimes not? Oh forget it, that's an impossible question.

    8/10.

This episode is a 5 for me. Its boring at the beginning and Professor Vindi is annoying. It does pick up when the bombs are being disabled. The part where Ashoka and Peppi Bow are trying to get around the camera is kind of funny. I think the scene at the end where the final bomb is disabled and everyone breaths their sighs of relief then Jar-Jar faints is hilarious. Fortunately the second part of this arc is much better IMHO.

'Mystery Of !,000 Moons' is a solid 8 in my book which is a big improvement over a 5 and I enjoy watching it. I admit I do know how to turn my lame filter off and enjoy things for what they are rather than getting caught up in animation nitpicks, lame dialogue, weak characters, and plotholes which could be a problem for the series as a whole. That's a discussion probably best left for when we are rating that episode or another thread, LOL.

    8/10

Jar-Jar was not necessary and really, why they couldn't have had a Naboo task force or something investigate this, I have no idea. The animation was quite nice and Neeyutnee was an interesting character (hope she pops up again in Season 4) and +5 points was Pippi (another nice character) smacking Jar-Jar so enthusiastically.

2/10. Only gets worse with age, especially coming after Trespass and Hidden Enemy.

Threepio was the best character, I liked his 'interrogation' of the Tactical Droid. Unfortunately that was ruined by the unbelievably annoying Jar-Jar. Coupled with wooden-marionette Padme, it's a recipe for disaster.

Considering Ahsoka was one of the least annoying characters in the episode, that's saying something.

I actually didn't mind Vindi as much as the rest of you yeahyeahyeahyeahyeah yesssss.

The weirdest thing about the episode was that it was mostly comedy, and yet they're trying to impress upon us the horrors of a biological attack. Terrible.

And the stupid rabbit droid or whatever - like they wouldn't have destroyed it the first time around. Sigh.

Also remembered how awesome the Dark Horse SW:Republic comic was, dealing with a biologic attack on Naboo's moon, with undead Gungans. Creepy.

That comic also had Alpha (Rex), and the debut of Ventress and Durge.[face_devil]

    VINDI RULEZ!:p yesyesyesyesyesyesyes!

Honestly he is the reason why i actually enjoyed this episode- stereotype? Certainly but SW is filled with stereotypes anyway and i think TCW needed him.......

No need to that but if he only would voice someone else than Jar Jar- he is too horrible as Jar Jar..... btw i gave 7 to this what i can do- i just don't share this Vindihate and i enjoy this episode it is not THAT much worse than average TCW or EU- Vindi was so overkill i really liked him- he had something so OT-like in him- maybe it's eu that tends to use stereotypes with OT-characters but he really suited to SW-universe
