    8.

I loved the battle scenes with the droids in the bunker. The Waxer and Boil scenes are among some of my favorite moments from the series. I also really liked the tactical droid in this episode, even if it didn't do anything that memorable.:p

9- one of my favs from season1 and my favorite of this trilogy......

First i had bit trouble accepting clones disobeying orders but well maybe Waxer is somehow "failed clone" what comes to accepting orders and he is too compassionate...... at least Boil is pretty much by the book- guy after all......

Numa is cute and idea of episode is very good- the clone wars was not just a huge battle for the sake of coolness but many actually suffered from it IU- old CW never did show anything like this- it was all "damn cool battle" and no civilians or war effecting to them is shown because that would be too "boring" or agonizing for ten year old kiddies wanting to see just mindless action....

still this is not "too realistic" or agonizing- so this suits to SW-universe as well

And there is something so WW2esque in battles of this episode- i pretty much always like WW2esque things in SW- landings like D-Day (lapr) or stereotypical naziscientists..... I so hope we could see CIS (or even better republic) troops marching in nazi-style flags raised :p if we'll not see that in TCW we have to see it with Empire in LAS...

Will be trying to find time to watch the Ryloth trilogy, but I can tell you this will be getting 10/10 from me.

I love 'Innocents of Ryloth' and consider it my favorite from Season 1 if not the series.

I love both subplots, it was great to see Ghost Company in action. Obi-wan Kenobi was 100% wise Jedi and I loved how epic he was in this episode. The scenes with Obi-wan helping Waxer and Boil throw the droid-poppers; and how Obi-wan took care of the gutkurrs are some of my favorite Obi-wan moments from the show. The droid humor was actually funny, they still came off as very menacing and the ending of this episode was bitter sweet thinking toward the future.

But being the sap that I am my favorite parts of the episode were with Waxer, Boil, and Numa. Numa was adorable, she puts Cut's kids to shame. Waxer gave me some real food for thought about the clones. A born and bred killer showing such a sweet and caring disposition to a little girl, even playing with her and comforting her was touching. He also displayed one of the most open streaks of disobedience out of any clone. Boil was almost as amazing as he grew to care from Numa from a cold, by the book, and sarcastic soldier who'd slap binders on the little girl without much though. It was so sad how neither clone really knew how to comfort the girl during the inside her broken home.

This one gets a fangirl 10 from me.

I was going to give this one a 9, but after three seasons, this episode managed to remain my favourite, and for that it deserves a 10.

No episode is perfect, but this is as much close they have gotten into.

    9. A very solid episode. And the Ryloth trilogy reminds me of how lacking Season 3 was in sheer replay value. And in action/battle scenes. I could rewatch this and Liberty on Ryloth and find it hard to get bored because the action is great, and it makes up the majority of the episode. The less time spent faffing around with weak dialogue and mediocre subplots, the better. All I want is to jump straight in and see skirmishes through to the end.

    10/10

LOVE THIS EPISODE! I loved how dark the TCW can be, and the idea of using the Twi'leks as living shields is very chilling. I love the reality of the desperation and everything, but my favorite part of the episode was when Numa was crying in her home. I actually cried with her-it was so hard not to become emotionally attached with her. Among my favorites from the series I must say.

I don't think it would be very chilling unless they actually did get bombarded and torn apart.

This was also the episode where I realized I couldn't watch the "extended previews" or whatever you wanted to call them, since it ruined the Jedi Mind Trick scene with Kenobi which was incredible. [face_frustrated]

8/10 This was my favorite from the Ryloth Arc, followed by the next episode. Waxer and Boil were nice additions to the 212th, and the little Twilek girl actually pulled my heartstrings a bit when they found her bombed out home. That's saying something.

The action scenes were also pretty damn good, especially the initial rush through the scrub. It was also really nice to see some aliens speaking their own language, instead of it all being in basic.

I love love love love *breath* love LOVE this episode.

By far the best STORY wise in The Clone Wars.

But you know.. that's coming from a clone lover who loves "behind the helmet" episodes.

    10/10

And who put a 1?

You might of completely missed the point of the episode than.

Anyway gave it a 9, one of the highlights of Season 1 and the series so far. Definitely need to see more of Boil and Waxer, I'm actually surprised we've seen so little of them since that episode.

Everyone here pretty much posted my thoughts on the episode already.

-That was my main annoyance with "Counterattack"-Echo's death was not as "noble self-sacrifice" as they intended...it was mostly purely maniacal suicide really.

    @Fanboy:
-If Cartoon Network didn't allow Ventress's kiss in "ARC Troopers" or Chewie to rip off some Trandoshan arms on Iwasskah, then I doubt they would have sanctioned Twi'leks being blown apart? I doubt it. The idea itself was disturbing though and one of the best, if not the best, episode storylines TCW has adopted to show the depth of darkness that this show is willing to go to for realism.

It should be impossible to vote without posting something since it's easy to go and mess up polls with fakevotes that are given without any real reason just to tease others....

oh and Waxer and Boil already returned in LAPR- and being Cody's best men they will return and they will die (at least another one) whether you like it or not- they are clones that's their job- hopefully their deaths are bit better than Echo's while i must say i liked it- he made an error but in that situation many would make stupid moves.....maybe it could've been bit better scene but well i have no issue with it...

I know Waxer and Boil are cameo characters in Landing at Point Rain. Really they have hardly shown up since the episode in this title and I've no reason to believe that will change. I know clones are going to die, I know they were born to die. Hell they may be the only characters that can die. I'm cool with the fact many will die. But perhaps unlike you I've got an emotional investment in a few clone heroes such as Waxer, Rex, and Fives who I root for to live (its fun), a sign the writers have done their jobs. Also, not every main clone has to die, death is not the only way to make the show dark and show how horrible war is or their lives are.

Looking back I don't think my 'review' if you can call it that, did this episode any justice. Just take my word that this was a very good episode.
