So, about the episode... I guess Kanan will now at least be able to work with Rex without sulking in the Phantom, but still not really trust the guy.

They should have space pizza. Could see Rex and brothers working a brick oven in a St. Nick outfit in a Christmas special.

Seems from the other trailers it will take time for Kanan to fully adjust and trust Rex, and working with a larger para-military force rather than just the small crew that had more freedom, imo.

 

Gregor will make jooba topped pizza to celebrate kicking Imperial booty.

Maybe make the AT-AT into a space pizza walker and sell pizza from it?

 

This question was probably answered but did they ever explain how Gregor survived?

Sorry to nitpick but AT-ATs have a top speed of 37 mph.

 

The armor finally did something. Plus he's a commando, they're hard to kill.

 

Not the worst rating I have seen.

 

Probably not a 10, but I'd give it a 9 because it was a great improvement over The Lost Commanders. The show just reminded me how much I liked Rex as a character in The Clone Wars (as well as how much I miss that show in general).

 

I had an issue with Gregor, but it wasn't so much as him being there as him not being there, if you get my drift. Why do they make him talk and act like an escaped mental patient? Is it possible that when they removed the chips, they accidentally affected the part of the brain that stimulates intellectual thought and dialect?

 

For Gregor its quite simple.

He had amnesia and survived an explosion that would not help either.

I think he was lucky to not be more insane.

 

I think we'll go with 9/10 for this one.

Battle in the sandstorm was good. The reunion at the end was great. And more of Hera and Chopper. I do hope we eventually learn where she got him from.

 

There were a couple of elements that I didn't care for in this episode, but meh. The animation was gorgeous. A solid 8/10 for me because of Rex and the reunion at the end. Not overplayed, but still emotional. It was good to see a glimpse of the old Ahsoka.

 

With SOL and the Clone arc, Filoni et al. have set the bar high for this season....

 

The only things I didn't like in this episode were the blatant plot armor with the TIE fighter, I mean really? It looked like he was purposefully missing the AT-TE, oh well at least it gave me a good laugh I guess.
And those guys in the star destroyer are either too clueless or totally blind. How did they not see the Ghost right before them? it wasn't like it was hiding in an asteroid or something .

Otherwise, it was a much better episode than the last one, the animation and music was top notch and there was tension! It doesn't beat SOL but still a great episode apart a few nitpicks here and there.

Could be what is turning and keeping the rating down, its too juvenile.

 

The episode was great, I'm happy that we have new characters and new planets, the last season had the same backdrop.

And the episode went fast for me, nice conclusion of this little arc.

I like that each episode is consecutive and not like TCW episode numeration mess.

 

Appears there was a Kelly's Heroes scene that was cut, so this episode was indeed cut down in editing, and it showed.
