It was just a comment showing my disdain at everybody taking everything literally.

sarcasm in forums just is bit problematic issue- there is always someone taking that stuff literally.... not every issue needs to be commented sarcastically- i know you- so i understand but everyone doesn't.... but enough ranting now :p

I wish people could explain why episodes deserve "a 10" or any type of grade, really.

Really liked Bane, the Ahsoka duel was a bit annoying. Yoda sensing there'd be an intruder seemed strange, but overall very enjoyable.

Yes but I think people should also explain why something is " "

We have no obligations to explain but it makes discussions and understanding different opinions easier- also positive opinion is usually harder to explain- since if some episode is bad it's easy to say "how it should've been" but if something is good , it just is good how it is- no reason to explain further because it just is good....

It seems Alexrd liked the episode as it is- 'it is good because Bane steals a jedi holocron' etc. the story and way it is done is for his liking no need for further explanations.....

When I grade episodes i start with 10 because that is what weekly SW-series is- full of win- then i'll start to reduce points from the errors they've made- episode-idea and general plot- if it's bad grade lowers rapidly- pacing, directing etc. then little details that bother me- all lower the score while bonus points are earned by ingenious plottwists or good quotes, animation etc.

We can always start with 0 but SW-series in TV is so cool it earns 10 points from me automatically but poor plot may take them all away- still there hasn't been any completely bad eps

    What?

And Swash, it's been said many times before that people should try and explain themselves. I wasn't the first. ;)

Swash has a point here. And besides, many people on this forum don't explain their comments, such as yourself.

Here's my take on this. If I give a flying **** about something, then I'll bother to flesh out my points and write mini essays for you. If not, then a smiley is more than enough.

EDIT - No swearing, even if you blank out all but the first letter! - Gry

No I am not. You explain some of your comments, but mostly you use a  and then when someone else asks you to explain, you don't and instead accuse them of trolling or you ask another question instead. If this helps, most of your unexplained comments are like the ones such as "That was the stupidest thing in TCW".

And I agree that Imnotafanboy has a point. However, when someone constantly uses an emoticon it is not right to comment on other people's lack of written explanations. I rest my case.

So negative bashing doesn't need any explanation but positive critic needs- or it is unfounded.....

    This episode sucks- ok
This episode rocks- Why- why it doesn't suck like everything automatically does without explanation?

You guys (GG and Tom) seem to think like this-

I think all opinions are ok- and even better if explained , but as I said- it is easier to say why something sucks, because if something just is good, there is hardly any explaining.
But if something is bad there is usually idea "how it should've been" so it's easier to say why something is bad....

In this case it would've been better if all jedi would've went to search for Bane not only Anakin and Obi-Wan....

I'm pretty sure I was concise. My only point was that considering you don't explain most of your negative comments, it is hypocritical of you to criticize others who don't explain their comments, regardless of whether they are negative or positive.

Since it's said many times that argumentation is recommended- in negative and positive comments both if something is cool, great, horrible, garbage or '' it is nice to hear explanation why so....... i really think we can stop this talk.....

I'm really irritated by the fact they wasted changeling- again- in AOTC Zam had no time to use her talent- what opportunity such villain would've been in this show for surprising plottwists- imagine in some episode: all the time we thought we follow Anakin and Ahsoka and Anakin would've been Cato Parasitti all the time:p or another way around.... Damn why they wasted such an intriguing opportunity? I would've rather seen Bane captured than Cato in fact:p

Nah Cato Parasitti would be boring as hell. She'd sooner surrender than try and fight her way out of anything. Ergo, Dullsville.

This episode gets a 9 for interesting characters and stories.

I have the same problem like Strika23 in her yet unanswered post in the closed Holocron-heist-thread:
    http://boards.theforce.net/threads/...ssion-thread-spoilers-allowed.30464227/page-8
When I see how Sith-Holocrons are described in the literature then it needs force-ability only to open it. There are Sith-Holocrons in the Jedi-Temple and I know that the members of the Jedi-Council are studying them as Jedi-Dooku did too.

Thus, if the Jedi are able to open Sith-Holocrons, why isn't Sidious able to open Jedi-holocrons in return all by himself? Especially after holocron and Kayburr-crystal would be handed over to him by Cad Bane?

Or do I overestimate Sidious' powers?
